We had the good fortune of connecting with Yoshua Coiscou and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Yoshua, do you have some perspective or insight you can share with us on the question of when someone should give up versus when they should keep going?
You just have to keep on going all the way, if you already started then there’s no reason to turn back. Take your time, take a break if need it but never give up on yourself. Don’t ever stop chasing that dream you have because it’s truly achievable. It’s not how fast you get there, or what’s waiting on the other side, it’s the climb.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I am most proud of myself, I am finally working towards my goals and aspirations and I am most excited about this journey that I am on. I don’t know where it’s going to take me but I am definitely going to enjoy the ride.

Working hard, being humble, the support from my family & friends and putting my trust in God is what what allowed me to go get where I am today.

No, it was not easy, there has been times I wanted to give up because so many people are trying to break into the same industry I am. But we are all unique and I know I am one of a kind.

A major lesson that I have learned was my time will come, just because it happened for someone else sooner than me doesn’t mean it won’t happen for me, it just wasn’t my time. But my time will come !

I want the world to know we are all destined for something great! We just have to apply ourselves and never give up. I want to be an example of that and share my story with the world.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would definitely take them to the Beltline or The Battery, go to the park in Stone Mountain. Would like to show them the sights and anywhere that has a great view. Little Five Points would also be a great go to. Also any indoor game places like Slingshot or even Andretti’s.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Mi Mamá & Mi Papá , for believing in me in every step of the way through the ups and downs and keeping me strong through all my bad days.

I also want to shout out my manager Tre for seeing potential in me and being there to guide me and help me reach my goals in the industry.
