We had the good fortune of connecting with Yanni Brown and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Yanni, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
The thought process behind starting Making Love Better TwoGether was to proudly connect women, wives and couples to the dots of love. Whether you are on the magnificent journey of self love, open to love or the want to experience the opportunity of loving better we decided that it was important to create a positive narrative around building healthy, loving and long lasting relationships.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
My name is Yanni Brown, I’m a Relationship and Intimacy Educator. I love what I do. I get to share the amazing benefits of LOVE with clients all over the world. I believe that Making Love Better TwoGether’s authentic, engaging, interactive, informative and vulnerable approach to having real conversations about relationships, love, sex and intimacy is what sets us apart from others.

I am most proud of our products and services and I get so excited knowing that we are changing the negative perception of love, one woman, wife and couple at a time. Is “Making Love Better TwoGether” easy? No! We’ve discovered that most of us don’t want to or know how to have real and honest conversations about wants, needs and desires when it comes to relationships, love, sex and intimacy. That’s where the passion for this business comes into play because our goal is to get us to a place where we can have these conversations and even better creating solutions to love better.

Some amazing lessons that we’ve learned along the way is that everyone’s love journey is different! It’s important to honor those differences but to acknowledge at the end of the day we ultimately all want to be loved.

Iyanla Vanzant of “Fix My Life” on OWN once told me that “When You Heal One Woman, You Heal All Women” I pray that through our events, coaching sessions, intimacy workshops, speaking engagements, books, seminars and experiences that Making Love Better TwoGether evokes trust, a loving environment, space for transparency, vulnerability, growth and healing. Our goal to help us become better lovers to ourselves and others from our hair follicles
down to our toenails.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I recently moved to Raleigh, NC and I am open to saying yes to new adventures. While I’m still getting to know my new city I was born and raised in Chicago so I’ll just say the food is amazing. If you’re visiting please do stop by Navy Pier, take in the sites, maybe a boat tour. The Architectural tour is a must see! Definitely have pizza, we have some amazing spots. DO have some Garett’s Popcorn and let your fingers get cheesy! Check out the magnificent mile, Pier 31, the beaches and so much more. Chicago is a beautiful city especially in the summertime.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My village is absolutely amazing when it comes to supporting me, loving me and even checking me in this “Making Love Better TwoGether” business. From my mother who is the wisest woman I know, to my children, family and friends who keeps me centered and grounded. Last but not least my publisher, Glenn Murray of 220 Publishing for pushing me to write my first book (Making Love Better Begins Within) and simply saying “You really have a story and people want and need to hear it!”
