Hi Xiantra, do you have a favorite quote or affirmation?
My all time favorite quote is “Where there’s a will there’s a way”. I’ve always been a true believer of if he brought you to it, he’ll bring you through it! You may go through different struggles and obstacles, but the storm does not last always.

What should our readers know about your business?
After years of wearing the hair I decided to branch out with my own hair business called “Tresses By Xiantra”.

I would say the quality of my hair sets me apart! I would never sell anything to anyone that I wouldn’t wear personally wear myself.

Of course it’s never easy but definitely worth it. One of the lessons I’ve learned is that it takes time to see a profit and you will learn you have to put in as much money as you would like to make, just to make your business successful.

I pride myself on being able to provide the girls with amazing hair at an affordable price and that is what I’m most proud of.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Whew yassss, anytime my bestfriends are in the city I love to take them to Cirque Daiquiri Bar and Grill for brunch, they have the best daiquiris, not to mention the food and the music just a great vibe overall.

The day parties are always a vibe at BQE or Atlantis. They also have great food!

We always end the night at any of the following clubs, Miami Lounge or Elleven45 lounge.

Me honestly feel as anything towards the City is a vibe! Period

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to dedicate it to my family and friends. For the most part my family have helped me deliver the hair if I couldn’t get off work and someone needed it quickly and also making post office runs with me. WHAT ABOUT YOUR FRIENDS LOL my friends have always encouraged me to take selling hair more serious. From the brain storming to helping create my own website and flyers they have always been there. I don’t know where I would be without my family and friends. It’s no other people I would want to celebrate my success with than them.
