Meet Xavier Rush | Serial Entrepreneur

We had the good fortune of connecting with Xavier Rush and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Xavier, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
I don’t look at risk as a bad thing. Risk to me is a situation, or challenge that equals success when eventually conquered. Knowing that the path won’t be a smooth one is the challenge I look for in life. The fruit that are borne in that way are even sweeter. I was always told, something worth having is not easy! I feel like everyone should take that risk toward their passion and what they love doing!
What should our readers know about your business?
Well I wear a variety of hats. I run a training facility named XRELITE LLC. The brand started in 2018 but my facility opened May 2021. We started as just me training individuals at parks, empty fields, planet fitness, etc. This evolved into me working at various gyms around the city. Then May 2021 I was blessed to obtain my own building. We offer Metcon CrossFit like classes daily. We specialized in personal fitness training and sports performance training. My other passion in Fashion, entertainment, and modeling. So XRELITE has its own clothing entity as well. I have put on a Fashion Show and Concert last May. It is Call “XRELITE Cultural XHibition and will have the second annual one July 16th, 2022 at Gallier in New Orleans, LA. I also dabble in the tech world and working on publishing my app named BeSure that will be hitting. apple stores soon. “XR” or XRELITE brand stands on the foundation of “Humble and Hungry”! This means no matter what type of success or downfall is experienced we stay humble and treat everyone with respect and appreciation; however, we never stay complacent and we stay hungry for our next opportunity to conquer!!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
First off we have to come to the gym and get a workout here at XRELITE (3519 Tchoupitoulas St), then a few other days at DeeJoe Fitness. We leave there to grab a Smoothie at my Favorite spot Smoothie Time. Then on a Tuesday I have to take them to Blue Flamingo for their Taco Tuesday night! Probably some of the best tacos in the city. For happy hour have to go by my guy Larry Morrow spot “Morrows” for great oysters and drinks! Then Friday during the day we Catch Bayou Beer Garden for a super dope vibe and great crawfish. Going bowling at Fulton Alley and have Dinner at Compere Lapin and/or Bywater American Bistro is a great move. If you never been to New Orleans, even though it’s not my favorite, I have to take them down on Bourbon St. and have a late night snack at We Dat! It’s so much stuff to do her, festivals to attend and restaurants to eat at we will definitely have a great time!!
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
When I look at its people always say ‘I’ did it” or “self-made.” Even though that has some truth to it I must recognize a plethora of hands that assisted me in my journey up to this point. First off, I want to shout out my parents and grandparents who instilled the drive and competitive nature I possess today. They always supported my decisions and my wild ideas. Next, my siblings (Jamian & Bonnae) for looking up to me as a role model and being super supportive in all my endeavors. I must thank my college WR Coach Kieth” Dub” Williams (coach for Baltimore Ravens) for instilling a mental fortitude that I could translate from football into life “Savage Professionalism.” Can’t forget my guy Derrick Joseph aka DeeJoe. He may be one of the most important people in this journey of mine. When I was struggling low on funds, sleeping in a car, planning how to get my next meal and attempting to pursue a professional career (he knew zero about), not only did he train me , he did it for free! Then he was gracious enough to also mentor me in the Fitness realm I am currently growing in today. Without people that are willing to take a chance on you it’s hard to level up efficiently. I appreciate that 10000% percent. I have to thank my best friend, Kia Graham! We have been friends since 5th grade! Through those tough times previously stated and even now she has been there for me in every capacity, and I can’t ever show her how much I appreciate that. My brothers 102(Shack, Brandon, Jordy, Devin, Darius) who have been supportive, informative, and real to me since we were 18 years of age. This is a group of 6 of former players and roommates that are like brothers, blood could only make us closer. We bounce ideas off each other and do our best to keep each other motivated! Finally,my girlfriend is the reason I am able to elevate, maneuver, and be as ambitious as I am because of her unwavering support. She is there in every way imaginable, and I appreciate her and what she does. She is my role model. Not only does she assist me in all capacities, but she also runs her own family business “Crescent Building Services” and she dominates the gym on a daily as well. Must Shoutout Brit! Without these people Xavier Rush wouldn’t be who I am today and wouldn’t be the great man and entrepreneur you will see witness great things from in the near Future .
