We had the good fortune of connecting with Whitney Bailey and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Whitney, what inspires you?
I am inspired by intentional conversation and the desire to heal from within.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Unknowingly, I’ve been a Spiritual Life Coach for many years before I recognized it as “my gift” or a business. What sets me apart from others is my desire to share love in its purest form through connection and conversation. I’m most proud of my personal healing journey that has opened my heart to allow all others in. I’m most excited about continuing to evolve so that I can assist others on their healing journey and be a strong anchoring point for them as they discover their true nature and desires. How I got to where I am today business-wise while living in Los Angeles I had a friend / previous co worker from Ohio who had recently moved to LA, through her transition she had been reaching out for advice about varies things going on in her personal life. One particular afternoon she sends an SOS text explaining how she didn’t know if she wanted to or could continue her life anymore. After a bit of counsel she returned to love (life, God) and continued to push forward even though she was in a dark place. That phone call blasted my heart open like it had never been before. I had so much compassion for every suffering human on this planet. She shared with me that I saved her life and in that moment I had a ‘knowing’ that this is what I’m suppose to do, have to do. It’s my mission here on earth to love all of Gods children equally. So, after that I began doing Spiritual Advising on ‘Love Donation’ bases. A year and half into providing that service to people I had a friend who came across a coaching program where you take a few courses and get certified to be a life coach. Was is easy? That’s a loaded question. To love others is my most natural state of being, it’s who I am. But what I’ve learned over the past 5 years is it’s extremely hard for others to receive and accept love because as I’m sure most of us have been hurt by the people who claimed to love us. So with me being a stranger entering into your life the first thing I’m met with is resistance and others trying to figure out my motive for being there. Even when they book the session lol or ask for advice. How I overcome these challenges are diving deeper into myself through Vipassana Meditation and learning about the science of the mind. The more I learn about humans and how we operate the better I understand and can meet each client where they are at mentally and spiritually. I’ve also learned that we can only meet another as deep as we’ve met ourselves, so I continue my journey of Self Mastery so I can authentically be what I am teaching. Healed and full of pure love.
Lessons I’ve learned along the way
•hurt people, hurt people
(it’s true, no one wakes up thinking “how can I harm this person today?”) we are recycling the pain of the past that hasn’t been addressed and released
•healed people, heal people
(Also true! Now that I’ve done the inner work on myself I have zero desire to cause pain to any living thing and I freely hold space for those willing to do their inner work so we can heal together)
• a person can’t love you if they don’t love themselves first (we clearly see others lacking self love but will continue to be hurt by the lack of love they are showing / sharing with us • take a step out of your hurt and realize they are loving you to their capacity, they have nothing else to give you.)
• The most important relationship is with God (source, spirit, universe, love, self) this will mirror in all other relationships where you are truly. And ultimately there is no one to blame for your life but YOU and the relationship you have with self.
I don’t desire the world to know anything about me but I wish for them to get to a place where they allow themselves the ability to feel me. To feel me means to feel love, and we all need a little more love in our lives. I also have a cosmetics brand #JustRawCosmetics listed on Etsy.com where I make organic homemade Body Butters. I value natural products because of my sensitive skin the chemicals in most store bought products caused me irritation and my skin to break out. So I began making my own lotions to prevent that and want others to have access to healthier skin care options PLUS I use this line as a physical vessel to get me (love) into more peoples homes and hearts • it’s a gateway to inner healing. A physical representation of love.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I’d like to dedicate my shout out to the omnipresent of Spirit (God) that has been the most constant and consistent connection in my life. I first encountered Gods presence at 4 years of age and have been guided by that presence ever since. The book The Mustard Seed By Osho was my gateway into spiritually and opened doors to many beautiful discoveries that my soul had longed for. Vipassana Meditation helped cultivate stillness into my practice which led me to deeply get to know and understand myself, as I am.
Also, shoutout to Mia-Obie a best friend of mine who recommended me for this interview. They have been a strong supporter of mine since we met back in 2010 “perfect love cast out all fear” a quote they introduced me to and has been the foundation of our friendship. Love you!
