We had the good fortune of connecting with Wendy Pilch and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Wendy, how did you come up with the idea for your business?
I have been a wardrobe stylist for over 20 years and I have always found that my clients want the most support with knowing how to put a complete look together. They also want to feel like their money is going to more than just clothing and accessories. For these reasons, I started Stylegiving. We create seasonal accessory boxes with bags, jewelry and more. These boxes also include a digital book of outfit ideas using the items in our boxes. The best part about Stylegiving is that a portion of each sale goes to charities that our clients care about.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I have styled hundreds of clients over the pat 20 years. This has given me the understanding of what women need and want from their looks, what makes them feel their best, and how I can simply the proces to help them get dressed successfully when I’m not there to help them. What I have found is that a classic capsule of clothing and great accessories are the key to a great wardrobe. Pictures of these looks from head to toe that can be replicated each day help our clients get dressed quickly each day. I have used these elements when creating Stylegiving so that our clients know how to wear the pieces and get this extra bonus with photos of complete looks they can copy.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
You won’t want to miss Piedmont park, the Atlanta botanical garden during the day. For drinks and dinner, try Little Rey. Hit Buckhead for some fun boutique shopping and even a trip to Lenox Mall.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to give a shoutout to my husband, Joe and my kids, Lilly and Eli. They have supported me as I have forged forward with creating my company. I have spent hours at night and on the weekends and they have patiently supported me. I am so grateful for their love and encouragement!
