Hi Vishwa, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
After working in the corporate and start-up space I wanted to invest and apply my skills in a business that welcomes my entrepreneurial aspirations. With the support of my husband, Krishna, we started exploring franchising opportunities that would enable us to grow an established brand within the dynamic city of Atlanta.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Shrunk3D is the world’s first and only mobile scanning studio that transforms high-definition photos into hyper-accurate 3D figurines of you and your loved ones. We’re changing the way you capture special memories and milestones.

Your special memory is converted into a figurine that can be cherished forever. Imagine having an accurate 3D replica of hour you looked on your wedding/graduation day, or a 3D figurine of your child on their 1st birthday. These moments don’t come back in time, but we capture them, exactly as they are, and transform them into 3D figurines with hyper-accurate detail.

Here’s how it works:
-The process begins with a quick/effortless scan of people, in our high-tech photo booth. Inside the booth we have 95 cameras that take 180 photos of you in less than 1 sec
-Subsequently, our design team creates the digital model required for the production of a stunning high-definition 3D print which is then delivered within a mere three weeks
-The figurines come in 4 to 9 inch in size, they are 3D printed in HD color, and NEVER chip or fade

We are still new to the Atlanta area and finding our own groove. The great thing is that we aren’t starting totally from scratch since this is a franchise. But we still are responsible for our own operations, logistics, marketing and sales. Currently, the most time-consuming piece is spreading awareness but we have partnered with a great videographer and marketing professional to help guide us along the way. This is a great learning experience that will allow us to scale.

The beauty of this business is that the booth is fully mobile. This means we can pull up almost anywhere for events while booking appointments throughout the week at our parked location.

The key is patience and strategy. Then everything falls into place.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
