Meet Vincent Thomas | Entertainer & Humanitarian

We had the good fortune of connecting with Vincent Thomas and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Vincent, as a parent, what have you done for you children that you feel has had the most significant impact?
One of the most important thing I have done as a parent was to instill the fact to my daughter that nothing is promised and the fact that you have to work hard for what you want to achieve in life. I know for sure that plays a huge impact on how I raised my daughter.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
This is where it gets fun. I do not want to write a movie but my life is sort of like that. I was born in a rural area with nothing but alot of forest and darkness at night. Hip hop music to me wasn’t like most artists I created my own from it being so boring where I grew up. I made up songs about being bored doing chores my parents getting mad at me. I made a song about my pets whatever it was. That was my entertainment. As I look back some of the most important lessons I have learned is . No one will know about you if they can’t see or hear you. And even then you may not be accepted like you want to.. I am most proud of my drive! No matter what goes on around me I never give up! That basically explains K-LUST! because I am still here being blessed and continuing to entertain with my art and heart and God given talents to share with the world.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Let’s see in week in Bowie? Lol… nah not to chuckle but even to this day there is still not that many things to do where I am from but there is always the National Harbor . If you like alot of restaurants great things to see and do that’s really interesting. Then you have The live Casino if you are into that type of activities. And if you are looking for museums and any outdoor activities which I usually enjoy I would definitely have to take you to the Potomac River walk or even the Harriet Tubman museum where it is peaceful and serene. Most of the restaurants are excellent depending on where you choose to get your grub on . But I love pizza so we would have to go to Ledos pizza . I want some now! Lol

Hey! How is everyone? Well I would like to dedicate my shoutout to my mother and father because without them in my life I wouldn’t even be here typing this. I also want to thank my daughter she has been an awesome inspiration for me as well . To be honest there are many people I need to thank I appreciate all things Definitely my first cousin Zilla too One book that I would like to recommend reading is Boss Up! By Rick Ross.
