We had the good fortune of connecting with Victoria Poole and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Victoria, every day, we about how much execution matters, but we think ideas matter as well. How did you come up with the idea for your business?
I can remember sitting at my desk a few years ago thinking… This cannot be what God has for me; It has to be a better way! I was unhappy in a career that was no longer serving me, and I was also struggling personally. I needed God to save me from myself. I had become stagnant, and I saw no growth in my career and in other aspects of my life. I can honestly say I was at my lowest point, but I was determined to live out my purpose. I realized that I had already known what my purpose was, but I had chosen to continuously run from it. I knew that it required more than I was willing to give. Scared and broken!

I began to understand that my peace would come from my purpose. Being miserable was a choice, and I was no longer willing to remain in that place. I had work to do, and I was willing to get out of my own way to obtain the future that I had desired.

In March 2020, I decided to take my experiences and education to create my business. Visions of Validation LLC was created to assist individuals with achieving their ultimate goals through self-awareness, self-validation, strategic planning, and goal execution. I’ve learned to allow my experiences to strengthen and direct me into the next phases of my life (personally and professionally) opposed to allowing them to hinder me. I would love to teach others to do the same.

What should our readers know about your business?
What sets me apart from others is that I only coach individuals an area’s that I have experienced and mastered or where I have done extensive research. I am always committed to furthering my education, so that my clients can get the best that I have to offer. If I cannot help, I will assist in finding someone who can.

I pride myself in being completely transparent with my clients and encourage them to do the same. One reason that I believe people and businesses fail is because we are coddled or conditioned to the old way of doing things, and people are afraid to be honest with us about our short comings. You will not get that from me. You can’t fix a problem that you don’t know you have; nor can you progress based on a false reality. my business was built on accountability and recognition.

The Life Coach

As a Life Coach, I think it is extremely important for others to understand that we control our own narrative. Everything you need, you already have; but sometimes you have to apply a little pressure. It is a wonderful feeling when you know who you are, how you respond, and become your own accountability partner. True Validation comes from within. It is amazing what you can do when you get out of your own way. To have a mind full of ideas with no execution and self-doubt… Is truly a waste. I’m not sure who needs to read this, but you are capable of accomplishing great things. Forget all the negative things you tell yourself.

It is not too hard.

it is worth your time.

you do have the resources.

you will get the clients.

The money will come.

You don’t have too much going on.

You are smart enough.

You can despite of your circumstances.

I know how it feels; I’ve been there before. Over the years, I’ve been my own worst enemy, and things haven’t been easy. If only you knew the tears, I had to shed to get to the space I’m in now. I refused to allow my situations to hold me hostage to my own life and my career.

Do the work! Heal from your brokenness and manage your mental health.

INVEST IN YOURSELF. Always remember surround yourself with people who are smarter than you, that have more resources, that are willing to help educate you, and genuinely want to see you win. You don’t always have to be the smartest person in the room.

The Business and Executive Coach

Starting and having a business can become overwhelming at times. No matter what obstacles come your way you must practice consistency. Consistency is the thing that can make or break your business.

For Small Business Owners:

It is important to continue to push through despite adversities, because consistency will establish the foundation for your business.

Ways to practice consistency:

•Create strategies/plans that highlight the business focus

•Build a daily routine

•Bring awareness to your business and the

services you provide

•Execute

For employers (Corporations):

Consistency effects employee morale throughout the workplace. It creates a sense of organization and promotes growth within your business. Your employees will feel comfortable regarding daily task and the level of productivity will more than likely increase. Remember that your employees are the driving force behind your business, and they need to have a clear understanding of how your business/company should function.

Ways to create consistency in the workplace:

•Set obtainable goals

•Set clear expectations for all parties involved

•Avoid switching plans, policies, and procedures to fix various situations – have a standard way of doing things

•Execute

Consistency is the key component to the success of any business and should be practiced.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I’m very big on exposing myself to new things, people, and places. I always check to see what events are going on in the city (or in surrounding areas). One of my favorite places to eat is Vickery Bar and Grill. The atmosphere is inviting, the food is amazing, and your able to have great conversations. I am a Band Directors’ kid, and my love for music cannot be denied.  We’re definitely going to attend a concert or see a live band. I think Atlanta has some of the funniest comedians, so we probably stop by the comedy club/show. Some other activities would include skating, bowling, painting, a kick back, or game night. I love to have fun!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
This shoutout is dedicated to William and Dorothy Poole. I could not have asked for a better set of parents. Thank you for your support, encouragement, hard work, and the love you have given your children and grandchildren through the years. You both have been phenomenal role models and have truly set the standard for us all. You are nothing short of a blessing, and I thank GOD for you! I would also like to acknowledge my siblings, relatives, and closest friends for always having my back. Thank you, thank you, thank you! I love you all to the moon and back!

In addition, I am proud to announce that I am a contestant in the 17th annual American Beauties Plus Pageant produced by Royal Productions! I am your Ms. Georgia, and I will be competing for the title of American Beauties Plus Elite! The events will be held April 6-9 in Roswell, Georgia. My platform is to promote equal opportunities for all employees and eliminate workplace abuse. I would like to thank Royal Productions, Natasha Monique Colman, and Stacy Bryant for the opportunity.
