We had the good fortune of connecting with Vibehouse EST and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Vibehouse, what was your thought process for your team behind starting your own business?
Between the seven of us, we have an amazing team of engineers, songwriters, producers, and videographers – along with the strong support of family, friends, and other professionals in the music industry. We realized we had the ingredients/tools we needed to be successful, so we started our own business.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Our music is a snapshot of our lives. Because of our distinct backgrounds, we are able to put various experiences together on track, often crossing into other genres in the process. At times it is tough to balance seven mindsets , but group votes and regular meetings keep business moving. We are learning many lessons along the way, but one of the most important is “to give life your best shot”. As artists, we are most proud about having the opportunity to share our music with the world. Every member in our group has a different sound like every room in a house has a different vibe.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Atlanta has a little bit of everything for everybody. Just out and about, we’d hit Piedmont Park, The Trap Museum, The Atlanta Beltline, The Georgia Aquarium, Lenox Mall, and Phipps Plaza. For a bite to eat, we would head to the Varsity, Krog Street Market, Bacado Burger, Big Dave’s Philly, and The Juicy Crab. For history and culture, we’d visit the historic Ebenezer Baptist Church, tour the birth home of the late Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. as well as the MLK Center. Our stop wouldn’t be complete without cruising by The Atlanta University Center (AUC). For a drink, we’d get a section at Cirque Daiquiri Bar and Grill, Tony’s Sports Bar and Grill, and play a few holes at Top Golf. If we’re getting active, we’d go to Golden Glide or Cascade to skate. The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Our shoutouts go to: Ms. Toni Williams, for being the best manager/”momager” we could have ever asked for. We thank Mr. Tom Willner for sharing his knowledge of the music business. Photographer, Martin Cumberbatch was the mastermind behind some of our best photo work; and a special shout out to Khaliq, Kamal, and Mr. Khalil Dansby for allowing the group to setup our first recording studio in his basement, where Vibehouse EST got its start. While there are others, these four individuals were crucial in helping to put Vibehouse EST where we are today.
