We had the good fortune of connecting with Tyesha Abdullah and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tyesha, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I have kids of my own that I have explained body boundaries to and I feel like every child should be equipped with these same tools. The key is to be proactive and not reactive.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
My business is all about advocating for kids safety and boundaries. Being fearless and not being afraid to discuss any topic is what separates my brand and business from others. Every time someone tells me how my book has helped them with a situation it warms my heart and lets me know I’m on the right path. I’ve had many challenges on this path of pursuing my dreams but I never let them stop me from my mission. Hopefully someone can see my resiliance and are inspired by it.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I honestly don’t do much hanging out and parting these days. I would take my friend to get somewhere relaxed like book a massage & seafood. Than somewhere where they play Rb music

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Special shoutout to my husband, my kids and every one else who’s supporting me over the years. I’m. Nothing without your support.
