We had the good fortune of connecting with Trevaris Wright and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Trevaris, what habits do you feel helped you succeed?
Studying and learning the cultures before me, the culture we’re presently in and being open for what’s to come.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
O T R P, was founded in 2018 a blue print venture born out of (Nawf) North Ga, balancing classy techniques with streetwear details, showcased as “ready-to-wear collections”. I design from an urban outlook, O T R P is both a reflection of  integrity, and character, giving our garments LIFE. I had no background or training specifics to fashion design, I praise my discernment of garments and give all the credit to my mother who is extremely stylish, she gave me a foundation and understanding of how to put pieces together and making sure your colors “Blend” giving the wardrobe character and style. 2023 we launched our website, and we sold out of EVERYTHING, that really motivated me and showed that anything you put your mind to you can do it. My passion for fashion stems from watching different designers such as Ralph Lauren, Kanye West, Jerry Lorenzo, Rhuigi Villasenor just to name a few, and I hope to be in the same light or better some day. I believe fashion is about being versatile, grabbing the designers pieces but never forgetting a good thrift store vintage piece.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
We would hit the battery or atlantic station, there is a variety of places to eat and drink there, if we’re hanging out we can go to the 3rd spot, main event, dave and busters or top golf. We definitely have to hit Phipps for the shopping!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I’m extremely family oriented, my wife, kids, mother and all of my loved ones!
