Meet Trenecia Hamerter | Creative Director

We had the good fortune of connecting with Trenecia Hamerter and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Trenecia, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
Creativity is the freedom to express yourself, the surfacing of your identity, the introduction of your unique style and designs to the world. I have always been an introvert except when I am creating,​ creatively I am the life of the party, the illumination that the everyone sees. My dream career was never set in stone, I was not America’s next top model, I had no desire to be American’s Idol nor did I relish the idea of being a doctor, lawyer or anything of the sort none of those spoke to my soul. Reading was my great escape I would re-wrote some of my favorites if I didn’t like the ending. Later in life I developed a fascination with nail art the colors and designs were endless possibilities, but branding makes my heart sing it is what conquers my fears and takes me beyond what I can see. Give this girl paper, scissors, vinyl or just graphics and see what she doesn’t bring to light. I am the author, the designer, and the advisor all on my own, right here is where is comes to life. I’ve perused many careers all of which I feel paved some sort of direction for my entrepreneurial career although I worked jobs and excelled in them none of them gave me the freedom and flexibility to live outside of myself. I always felt unfulfilled like I should be doing more at the end of my 9 to 5 until the day I decided to just let go and go for it. Here I am 3 years later my branding company is in full swing and I have no regrets my advice to anyone teetering on the idea is the world needs to see you so be brave and show them what you got.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Creative 2 the Tea Promotions is a dynamic brand building firm that although small our services and designs creates lasting impressions. One thing that businesses should understand is that we are not just your print, t-shirt creating shop we create the brand the message and image that people see as they are walking or driving by you and your establishment. Creative 2 the Tea not only caters to the business owners but also those thinking of starting a business but just not sure where to go. We have experts that will sit down with you and bring your ideas to life from start to finish. I am excited to be here to show what we are made of our work speaks for itself. The care and dedication we put into every project we take on is what sets us apart. The road less traveled (the entrepreneur road) is not the easiest path to success but success is the finish line if you stay the course. Currently we have crossed the finish line yet, we are way ahead of where we use to be. Something to remember is it’s not what you do it’s how well you do it, there could be 60 other people doing the same thing as you but no one can do it like you. If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I am an introvert/workaholic. I don’t get out much in my down time I prefer to stay in with a glass of wine and read. However, I never turn down new sights.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I can’t just shoutout one person when there are so many that got me here. I can however shoutout those that supported me from the beginning, those that believed in me when I was unsure of myself. I would like to show love to those that purchased items from me during my struggle before I knew what I was doing. To the people that shared my post or referred others to me so much love. My son whose face keeps me going and gives me purpose, my mom who encourages me through the darkness I love you all and thank you.
