We had the good fortune of connecting with Trecy Bleich and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Trecy, how has your perspective on work-life balance evolved over time?
Over the years, my balance has changed because now my son is old enough to handle some things on his own. Because I work from home, it is easier for me to balance being an entrepreneur and being a mom.  I have a better handle on maintaining the needs of a business and trying to raise a good human. I think about balance as an inclusion of all aspects of one’s life. It is very important to have a focus in life but also to have the ability to break away .  This to me creates a healthy mind and well-rounded individual who has a better scope of everything in our world and not be extremely self involved. Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
My jewelry design is a creative mixture of classic, minimal and artistic expression. What sets me apart are the stories and inspiration I convey through design. The shape and forms are unique to my design story. I’m most proud of that with my designs I’ve captured clients in the museum markets. As a young child growing up in rural Georgia, I’ve always been fascinated by the historical art in museums. I have been able to run my business and be a stay-at-home mom with the support of my husband. The road was not easy but with time, I’m able to travel more with my business. I’ve learned that relationships are important within the industry. Sometimes mentorships can come through people within organizations supported with free advice and connections. I want the world to know that I’m passionate about design and I like what is pure and organic. My designs represent who I am. my concern for our world, people and nature.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
My fun time in the city would be a visit to the High museum in Atlanta. I love diving into the world of art and educating myself about inspirations behind the pieces. I would also take my guest to the Sweetwater State park driving to the west side of Atlanta headed towards Alabama. It is a beautiful park with mini waterfalls and a historical textile mill ruin dated back to the Civil War. It is a great way to get outdoors and truly enjoy beautiful aspects of nature i.e. hills, walking trails, water falls, native plants, interesting insects. For a meal I would venture to food markets such as Ponce City Market or Krog Street market. They have food stalls with a variety of international cuisine. The food is yummy and well prepared.Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
