Hi Tory, is your business focused on helping the community? If so, how?
The mission of the Oasis Community Foundation enhances the structure of culturally inclusive initiatives within our communities. We do this by providing leadership through enriching philanthropy that builds enduring assets and by promoting innovative solutions. How?  Through various resources, support, and actions that advance the common good while fostering positive economic growth.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
We are a 501c3 nonprofit established in Marietta, Georgia. From a few’s vision, the Oasis Community Foundation emerged to advance the people’s objectives within our communities. We employ our varied resources that channel augmented philanthropy to sustain diversified ingenuity to the people within our community. We provide critical resources to those in need through our endeavors utilizing municipal events, donations, partnerships, and mentoring programs. As a community foundation, we value Stewardship. We hold The Oasis Community Foundation in public trust, maintaining the highest integrity standards in donor relations, community service, institutional governance, and fiscal management.  We value the foundation’s unique capacity to provide an inclusive forum for civic engagement that promotes responsible and impactful philanthropy and collective community action informed by shared values and diverse beliefs. We partner with volunteers, community leaders, and civic and nonprofit organizations to provide high-impact programs, services, and knowledge that benefit the broadest possible constituency. We respect and value all members of our community’s contributions and experiences in the work that we do. We engage in activities that promote the common good. We commit ourselves to fully embrace that calling for as long as the need exists. We honor our donors’ contributions and apply them directly to the well-being of underdeveloped markets and pledge always to do so. Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would definitely visit World of Coke, The Varsity, Cigar City Club, Whiskey Mistress, The Sundial Restaurant, and The Illinois Monument.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
A big part of what drives me comes from an admiration for all that educators provide and endure. I dedicate this to the early childhood educators that rise to the challenge daily.
