Meet Torii | influencer/content creator, singer, and model

We had the good fortune of connecting with Torii and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Torii, do you have any habits that you feel contribute to your effectiveness?
Once I started practicing mindfulness, everything shifted for me. I developed a habit of reciting affirmations daily and taking time out of my day to meditate. Also, the more I started implementing self-care in my day to day routine, the more my confidence grew which definitely played a huge role in my success.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I’ve been singing and writing my whole life, but the content creating as well as my interest in beauty came later on down the line. I’ve always felt things very deeply. Whether it’s me taking on someone else’s emotions or simply feeling my own, when I experience emotions, I feel them very strongly. That’s something I used to despise about myself, something that I used to run from if I’m being honest, but now I appreciate it because I realize the power of transmuting all of that energy. I’ve found the beauty in taking on all of those emotions, all of that energy and transforming it into something healing, something beautiful, or something inspiring and motivational not just for myself, but for others. Because of this, my art is very much raw. I really take pride in how genuine and authentic it is.
It definitely took a lot of consistency and mindset shifts to get to this point. Actively counteracting self-doubt or consciously fighting against negative self-talk. It’s not easy, but every piece of the journey has been necessary because it’s taught me so much. I’ve learned to prioritize myself and the importance of taking care of my mind, body, and soul. I’ve learned how important it is to have a positive relationship with myself which I try to showcase in my content.
Above all, I just want others to know how powerful they truly are. I want my story to be an inspiration and reminder to everyone that no matter the struggle or circumstance, we are capable of living the lives of our dreams and we deserve to pursue what brings us joy.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
To be honest, I’m such a homebody I don’t get out as much as I should, so some places on this list it would be my first time visiting as well.
I love hookah and hot wings are my absolute favorite so naturally, we would have to go to Escobar.
Definitely would have to enjoy some live music and more hookah at Savoy Bistro ATL
GurlMobb Selfie Museum for some bomb pictures and content
Ivana’s Beauty Garden for some self care.
Mojave for a brunch date
The Battery
Sloomoo Museum
3rd Spot

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would love to dedicate this to my mother. She’s always believed in my talents and supported my passions, on top of being an incredible provider for me and my sisters all on her own. I see how strong she is and I truly admire that strength.
