We had the good fortune of connecting with Tori Chapman and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tori, how has your background shaped the person you are today?
I come from a broken household and I do believe that upbringing impacted me in a lot of ways. My father starting his own successful law firm from the ground up and being a business mentor to me my whole life instilled a very strong drive in me to be successful. In addition, my single mother’s financial challenges after the divorce reaffirmed to me that I would do everything it takes to be financially independent and wealthy on my own so I will never have to depend on anyone else for financial support.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
At only 24, I’ve gained significant professional and creative experience that I’m proud of. My career has spanned various roles in account management and marketing and sales direction. Currently, I’m an account manager at a Web3 marketing agency (called Coinbound), consistently surpassing goals and delivering value to clients.

Outside of my career, I’ve built a personal brand on Instagram with 17k followers, collaborating with amazing brands and talented photographers. Additionally, I serve as Operations and Show Manager for Atlanta Swim Week, contributing to the growth of Maddie Gray’s visionary project, where we’re bringing an upscale unique experience to Atlanta.

Balancing ambition and patience has proven to be the most demanding aspect of pursuing success as a young woman. I eagerly anticipate seeing my dreams materialize and reaping the rewards of my hard work.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
There are so many fun and interesting places to check out in Buckhead for a visitor! For a fun afternoon I’d always recommend going over to the Buckhead Shoppes, walking around the stores, going to Le Bilboquet, Gypsy Kitchen, or Le Colonial for lunch, and then getting a coffee or dessert at St. Germain afterwards. It’s a great spot for pictures! For a fun upscale night out I’d recommend having dinner at Umi or Hal’s and then grabbing a drink at St. Regis, Garden Room, or Atlas, and visiting Thirty, Himitsu, or Tongue and Groove after if you’re in the mood to party! Outside of Buckhead a bit, Palo Santo and El Malo are really nice vibes to grab a drink. For the outdoorsy type I’d recommend going to The Chastain at Chastain Park for farm to table awesome food and a walk around the trail or Park Tavern at Piedmont Park to get snacks and drinks and sit by the fire pits or sit outside/play games in the grassy field!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I’m a huge advocate for mental health, emotional intelligence, and continuously working on your personal development. My personal growth has been fostered by going to therapy with Timothy at Oasis Counseling Center, reading books like the 7 Habits of Success, and listening to podcasts like the Ed Mylett show, which has helped me connect with a higher version of myself.
