We had the good fortune of connecting with Tony Wright and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tony, do you have some perspective or insight you can share with us on the question of when someone should give up versus when they should keep going?
I keep going because when it’s your passion you have to make sure to keep going. A lot of people will count you out but my faith is what keep me going.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Cia Media Network Productions started when I was a young intern in college. I realize I loved radio and understood I had to get into writing and directing. I would see things from Hollywood and say we need more things with a message behind it. I realize I can’t talk about I had to be about it.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would love to eat at my mom’s but I will drink some great wine. I just hang out with family when I can. Where I live we hang out downtown and during football season sit down for a great game.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
So when I was a young man I would be the type of kid if I was on punishment I would do anything to watch tv. I can remember the first show I connect with and it was Family Matters. I loved Steve Urkel and I really wanted to know how tv is created. I started seeing film producers like Tim Reid, Oprah, and Tyler Perry. I wanted to do what they do and more.
