We had the good fortune of connecting with TiQuintin Morrell and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi TiQuintin, what habits do you feel helped you succeed?
Watching and helping people progress mentally. Helping someone improve their life for the long haul. It makes my spirit feel good and I’m addicted to that.
What should our readers know about your business?
During a very depressing time in my life…I looked for inner healing. Sports was a major part of my life. I was lost when I didn’t make it to the NFL. My dreams were shattered and working a job that fulfill me emotionally was too much. I began looking inside of my inner child for guidance. I only wanted to pursue what made me happy. I would visit my old high school and watch them practice while searching for answers. I volunteered to help train them for the off season. From there a light bulb turned on my head and I was having fun again. I started training my body. I found old Boxing pictures and awards from my childhood. Whenever things were going wrong in my life…I would think about what it took to win. Fight!!! Never give up. My winning attitude and mentality was back. So I want everyone to have a passion for obtaining their passion. It starts with making mental changes and Actions.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I don’t go out much but in Atlanta whatever you want you can have. I enjoy a nice lounge, live band, good food and positive vibes. Visiting different museums. Restaurants don’t matter. I just enjoy eating. I prefer a home cooked meal. I still enjoy competing in various sports such as basketball, flag football, softball and of course sparring in the Boxing ring with the big dogs.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I want to dedicate a shouout to my children. They are a major reason for my overall growth and awareness.
