Hi Timah, other than deciding to work for yourself, what was the single most important decision you made that contributed to your success?
making the decision 4 years ago to be a full time entrepreneur was one of the best decision I made. it first all started from putting my business as a first priority , showing the consistency in my customer service , the results of my work, opening my availability and not being afraid of stepping out of my comfort zone. when you take your dreams serious and you want others to respect the empire you are building it all shows within your actions and how to present the business to society. Acknowledging and knowing who are your people , who is your targeted audience , and just knowing your worth and never settling for less.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
My names Timah Graham I am Full time hair stylist, I specializing in all natural and luxury hair styles such as braids , weaves and etc. I have been doing hair since I was 16 years old as a hobby and 5 years ago I became a hair stylist full time and that was one of the best decisions of my life. was it a easy journey , no it was not. it was many days I would be sad I would cry I would wonder why I don’t have clients, upset when a client cancels, wondering when its my time , people making fun of my home based business, questioning my potential could I really survive off doing hair I had so many questions about where I should be in my life with something I enjoy doing. One day god put me in a position where my back was against the wall and doing hair was my only option and I woke up from pain one day, from false verbal abuse about my character etc, and decided to put my all into what god has blessed me with and that’s my talent, one thing nobody can ever say they gave me and can never take from me. From that point on in my life I’ve seen nothing but gods blessings and glory over my entire business. my business has taken me places I never thought ill be, my business has opened doors for me I never thought ill walk through, my business has took my to a finances to places I never thought it’ll go. and I am beyond grateful. it took a lot of determination, motivation, sleep less nights, consistent marketing, great excellent customer service, etc everyday you learn different ways to make your businesss better than it was yesterday. The lessons I learn daily and overall just makes me grow wiser and give me the strength to want to do more to see more. I have so many heights I see my brand going and I just can’t wait to touch every milestone in my business to continue to celebrate my success .I want the world to know that touchedbytimah will be known nationwide. touchedbytimah will be touching millionaires and billionaires heads, touchedbytimah will be in a room filled with blessings and high opportunities. touchedbytimah will be one of the highly recommend black owned hair business in the nation. touchedbytimah will be wealthy

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
if someone was coming to my city I am very spontaneous I would take them to a a nice dinner at ocean prime, I would go down the city maybe take them to victory a nice lounge vibe where you can relax enjoy some good music eat good and smoke hookah if you life. we would go to mgm and hang out at the casino at a nice Resturant there maybe book a massage downstairs of the casino , fun things to do top golf, etc we have really great brunch spots with day parties we would go to park brunch

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I want to give a big shout out to god first, because without him I wouldn’t be where I am today. From the places he started me from , the environments I was placed the people I met it all contributed to the blessed successful place I am now. I am not even where I want to be but I’m in the best part of the season that’s for me right now , every place life has taken me has created me to be who I am today. I also want to give a very big shout out to my clients they are the number one VIP people in my life, their loyalty, their support, their referrals, the way they pour into my business is beyond measures and if it wasn’t for them my business wouldn’t have excelled the way it did.
