We had the good fortune of connecting with Tiffany Nunnally and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Tiffany, how has your work-life balance changed over time?
The older that I become, the more responsibilities I seem to have, so its important for me to manage work life balance to decrease stress. I read an article that stated that 49% of women report that their stress has increased over the last 5 years. Stress comes from not only juggling multiple responsibilities, but also from experiencing the life cycles of life and relationships. For me personally, I have experienced both death and divorce over the last 10 years, so decreasing my stress, improving my balance and overall well-being are at the top of my list.
I’ve managed this through what I like to call “Soul Care”.
It’s a more comprehensive approach to self care. Most self- care activities focus primarily on the body. But soul care, focuses on giving care to the whole person; mind, body and spirit. It involves self-reflection practices to help reset your mind, body and emotions.
Despite the major challenges that are aforementioned, Ive managed to still have great joy, peace and success in my life. I’ve gotten MORE compliments from beauty, to faith, to career accomplishments and to the personal impact that I’m making in people’s lives more than I ever have had in my entire life. And I’m just really at peace on the inside. I credit it all to God and Soul Care.
My typical Soul Care activities include: listening to piano instrumental music while I work, limiting phone time to certain hours of the day, small prayers at the beginning of each new activity, taking breaks, reading self-help books during breaks, journaling, intentional acts of services to others, and long walks outside.
What should our readers know about your business?
I help women who are ready to do more, be more and have more in their lives. Most women aren’t sure what their “more” is, but many feel like the answer to “finding more” has to do with them going deeper spiritually to get it. I work as a credentialed life coach, speaker and best selling author who helps women identify their true selves and cultivate ALL that they were created to be. We are most proud of our Amazon #1 bestselling book, More Life and all the wonderful testimonies of how it has inspired and served as a step by step guide to help women transform their lives into the MORE they were created for! What sets us apart from other coaching and speaking companies is that we transform spiritual principles into an everyday lifestyle and business practices. I am known for (as some of my clients like to put it) “making faith real”, going beyond Sunday and making it a lifestyle that unlocks abundance! Our Brand Promise is to partner with women on the self-fulfillment journey and to the supernatural power within. We are now in the process of rebranding and rolling out a new monthly Soul Care Workshop series. Our workshops are held at various locations in Atlanta and virtually online. In this workshop, you receive a spiritual boost, stronger accountability, and tools that equip you with how to deal with real life issues. Follow us on https://www.instagram.com/
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would take them to Virginia Highlands for lunch to eat at Bar Taco. I usually order the Duck Tacos (which arent on the menu, but if asked they usually have them). Then, top it off one of my favorite cocktails, the Caipirinha. Afterwards, go walking or bike riding on the beltline. Then, time for some shopping at Fab’rik in Sandy Springs. Lastly, dinner at Desta Ethipoian Kitchen; they have the best vegetarian and/or meat platters! Or, dinner at TukTuk Thai Food; everything is good if you like Thai! Or, if you just want a beautiful vibe, go to The Garden Room Atlanta for drinks, crab rolls and a gorgeous atmosphere!
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to shout out to Candi Cylar! I initially met Candi at Impact Church where she served as the Creative Director. Little to our knowledge, we both also attended the same college, Tuskegee University and were a part of the same sorority. Candi attended one of my online group coaching programs and since then has been a consistent supporter, mentor and friend. Everyone knows how important it is to have a “cheerleader” when starting your entrepreneurship journey. A person that not only supports you in private but will publicly share and refer others to you along the way. Candi has done just that and MORE! Many doors and STAGES have opened up for me due to her support. She has believed in me, answered my calls, read my pitches, and encouraged me along the way. For that I am grateful! What a friend! Candi is an Event Producer who creates experiences through events for faith-based + nonprofit orgs Please learn more about her Candi and her services at: https://www.instagram.com/candicylar/ Or schedule a consult at: https://calendly.com/candicylar/30-minute-ministry-service?month=2020-04
