Meet Tiffani and David Bryant, Jr.: Co-founders

We had the good fortune of connecting with Tiffani and David Bryant, Jr. and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Tiffani and David, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
My brother and I, Brync co-founder David Bryant, Jr., have always worked well together and we figured that it would translate well if we decided to go into business together. We had been wanting to do SOMETHING for years, but we hadn’t settled on any one thing. David has an affinity for beaded jewelry and Tiffani adores the arts/crafts. Eventually we settled on an accessories business featuring beaded jewelry. Beaded jewelry is an avenue that’s rather popular right now and we don’t see that changing anytime in the near or foreseeable future.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Brync offers custom and handmade men and women fashion accessories that are bold, intentional, and relevant. Currently, we offer unisex beaded bracelets and necklaces, with additional product lines to follow. We are known for providing reasonably priced high-quality bracelets that can be worn in multiple settings including casually, in business settings, and with formal attire. We consistently release new designs, so if you do not see a style that you are looking for on our website today, you just might see it being featured tomorrow. We also create customized pieces upon request. When we started Brync last year during the pandemic, we ventured to create a brand and unique product line that would not only look good when worn but would also stand for something: strength, determination, and resilience. All of which were necessary to make it to where we are today.
The road on this journey has not been smooth –at all, but it is OUR process and we are excited about what the future holds. Our biggest challenge outside of starting a business during a pandemic, was developing and securing our supply chain for products and packaging. We wanted to find great suppliers that produced high-quality products, which required a lot of research. Quality is key at Brync, not mediocrity. Our other big challenge has been brand awareness and marketing. Building and having a brand name that people can trust and support is the goal of every successful company.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
We love Atlanta! One of the first things we would do is enjoy a walk along a portion of the BeltLine to get in some cardio and to enjoy the beautiful scenery. After that we would head over to either the Flying Biscuit or to a restaurant in Virginia Highlands. We love the eclectic shops in Little Five Points, so taking a visit there is definitely on the list. Also, what is a trip to Atlanta if you do not go to Piedmont Park to people watch?
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Brync is a family based company and we come from a very big and loving family. One, that as we grew up, we saw – and still see – that many people are not as fortunate to have that familial structure. God, our parents, older sister, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins have all played a part in how we were raised, how we view life, and are the reason why we have the drive to succeed. We are forever thankful for that.
