Hi Tiara, what do you attribute your success to?
The most important factor behind the success of my brand is undoubtedly my customer service. While I pride myself on providing the best desired lash looks for my clients, it is my commitment to making them feel comfortable and welcome that truly sets my brand apart. I strive to ensure that every client leaves with a smile, knowing that their day has been brightened by their experience with me.
Interacting with my clients is something I genuinely enjoy. I love hearing about their personal experiences, sharing laughs, and creating a warm, friendly environment. This connection goes beyond just providing a service; it’s about being a great person who spreads loving energy and positivity.
When clients feel welcome and open to talk during their service, it not only enhances their experience but also fosters a lasting relationship. I believe that who you are as a person greatly influences how your business will flourish. By being kind, attentive, and genuinely caring, I ensure that my clients remember their time with me fondly and keep coming back. This dedication to exceptional customer service is the cornerstone of my brand’s success.

As a lash tech in a highly competitive city, what truly sets me apart is my dedication to going above and beyond for my clients and my creativity in enhancing the services I provide and also just me as a person. I am incredibly proud of my growth and development as a lash tech. I started with little knowledge of the craft, and seeing how far I’ve come is immensely gratifying.
My journey has been anything but easy. It required countless hours of practice and perseverance through slow times. Despite the challenges, I never let discouragement stop me from striving to be the best. I reminded myself that nothing worth having comes easy and that if I truly wanted to succeed, I had to keep pushing forward.
There were days when I had no clients, but I remained consistent, posting daily and doing whatever it took to keep my business moving. The biggest lesson I’ve learned is to never give up on something you are passionate about. Persistence pays off, and if you continue to pursue your dreams, someone will eventually notice your hard work. You never know where life will take you if you keep going.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my best friend were to visit for the day, I would plan an amazing food-filled adventure! We’d kick off the day with brunch at Toast on Lenox, one of my favorite spots. After brunch, we’d take a relaxing walk and catch up at Piedmont Park. For lunch, we’d head to Bar Taco, a 10/10 taco spot known for its chill atmosphere and delicious food. In the afternoon, we’d unleash our creativity at the Picasso Splat Room, enjoying some painting. Finally, we’d wrap up the day with a fun evening of hookah and dining at Juicy Crab, adding a unique twist to our day.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Absolutely, it takes a dedicated team to build something truly special, and I have been incredibly fortunate to have the unwavering support of my friends and family throughout this journey. My best friend, in particular, has been a constant source of encouragement and motivation. Becoming a lash tech was never initially in my plans, but she saw potential in me and believed it was the perfect fit. She encouraged me relentlessly and would come over almost every night, allowing me to practice on her until I perfected my skills. I appreciate her more than words can express.
My Auntie Tammy also played a crucial role in my success. She not only believed in me but also invested in my future. She developed a plan to support me financially, enabling me to take my first class and learn the intricacies of the business. Her guidance on the ins and outs of starting a business has been invaluable, and to this day, she continues to support and advise me at every step. I am deeply grateful for their belief in me and their ongoing support, which has been instrumental in my journey.
