We had the good fortune of connecting with Tiara Daniel and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tiara, any advice for those thinking about whether to keep going or to give up?
An important lesson that I learned in my past is to never ever give up: Always keep it moving. If you fall down, always get back up and try again. It doesn’t matter if it is the first time, or the billionth time, you must always get back up again. Regardless of what challenges you are facing, you have to keep pushing forward. Life isn’t going to slow down for you, so you have to put in the work to reap the benefits. It is always important to set goals for yourself. Never stop reaching for the stars. Sometimes tomorrow is about learning from yesterday. Life has tough moments, however, always remember, “Tough times don’t last, but tough people do!”

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
The Dream Jar Company that specialize in natural products such as: body scrubs, wax melts, candles, lip gloss, body butter, bath bombs and more for men, women and children. Each product is handcrafted and homemade with love in batches to ensure freshness. We are proud of our loyal followers and customers. We have several customer that have us on speed dial for wholesale opportunities and restock. We ensure quality natural products and we love hearing our customer talk about how our products have changed their skin. Some of our customer favorites are whipped body butter, bath bombs and our signature lip-gloss.The Dream Jar Company started small, attending Farmer Markets every weekend, which has now turned into traveling locally and long distances to vendor events within the southern states such as Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, Florida, and South Carolina. Advocating knowledge and promote healthy glowing skin. We have no extra money for additional advertising, so we have to rely solely on word-of-mouth and marketing on all social media platforms. We have taken a slow and steady approach at working to be successful and look for opportunities no one thinks of looking. The Dream Jar Company have has some minor bumps along the way, but knew it was to be expected always remember to keep GOD first, PRAY and MANIFEST your dreams into reality. There is a lot that goes into starting a business – having a great product or service is not enough. There is insurance, application fees, licenses, product testing, market research, FDA regulations and more. Our biggest challenges are 1) competing for shelf space with mass-produced natural care products 2) advertising – we use Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Alignable and hosting our own vision board events. Which we are still working everyday to improve.
