We had the good fortune of connecting with The Lukk.e Jos and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi The Lukk.e, how do you think about risk?
Risk are essential in the process of progressing an expression or aspiration. Without risk ,one is confined to the figment of one’s wishes, rather than the manifestation of one’s said goals. In our endeavors as artist , risk are a staple stigma that is interwoven into the fibers of our “wild-card” like creativity and expression. Therefore, We would identify ourselves to be against the grain, contorting the societal norm of what most would generalize as music. In a sense, we have an admiration for risk and place them at the forefront of our psyche , to propel a harmonious momentum.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
The main factor that sets us apart is being intentionally diversified . We do not entertain being genre-labeled or conformed by the means of the masses. Also, we are two brothers in real life, not friends who met in high-school , but cut from the same cloth since the womb. Thus, we produce our own content from start to finish and are the masters of the ” do it yourself ,wait on no one” philosophy. We are most proud of the fact that we have created a wave through being transparent and honest throughout the whole journey of developing into the artist that we are today. All in all, the most exciting part is being able to control our own destiny, and having an infinite imagination by always looking toward the future of our sound and personas. For the most part, everything came naturally , except avoiding the trap of making the typical sound that is popular. Through networking and assembling a team of our homies, we have expanded our opportunities exponentially. We learned that living presently will always spark inspiration and that it’s better to feed the flock than to eat at a table alone. We want to people to know that our brand is for the people who want break barriers and excel in being themselves. One creates the reality one wants, be in in charge of it.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
First, we take them to our backyard and let them bask in the nature the surround our living environment. Then show them the process of how we create art, film ,graphic pieces , etc etc. It’s all about quality time rather then moving too much around the city. All of our friends are pretty much artist or creators themselves. Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
In our story our mother is a heavy driving force into why we grind in a relentless way. All of our lives, she’s set a precedent for us to never give up our dreams due to worldly influences. Also Mr. Paul, a man who gave us an immense amount of support initially , and told us we would go places with such a conviction ,that we had no other choice but to prove him true.
