Hi Terren, what habits do you feel helped you succeed?
Being a helping hand in others lives. Its essential, because it allows you to learn and build relationships.

I would say I’m most proud inside of my organization Playmakers Nashville. We’re a non-profit social service, that prides itself on (Community, Leadership and Networking) across our local communities here in Nashville, TN. Being the President comes with a huge responsibility. I embrace the challenge that it brings with shaping and cultivating our youth and those in need. The road to building a organization to how you want it can be difficult at times. But, having the right team and people who believe in the same passion and drive it takes, is well worth it.

Lessons, I learned. It take great patience and execution to fulfill certain task or projects we’ve encountered this year. Having healthy relationship with other local entrepreneurs has been a vital piece to our success.

I would like the world to know about me. Is that, I grow up in a every heavy engaged in the community family. I encourage and challenge those to seek opportunities to be able to help or give back to their communities. Each One, Teach One!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Nashville is a unique place. We have a great selection of choices from food and social gatherings. I would take my friend to the W Hotel Nashville, a personal favorite of mine. From the elegance of the environment and crafted cocktails, you can’t lose. The preferred drink of choice. Guidance Whiskey.

Next, is the food option. This can be hard because of the many selections. I would recommend I take them to Prince’s Hot Chicken. I feel this is the staple and has so much rich history within our black Nashville history.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?

Playing a key role with professional athletes and their organizations was awesome . This allowed athletes during the holidays to giveback during Turkey & Toy Drives, but also push the importance of balancing their communities one drop at a time.
