We had the good fortune of connecting with Telv The Great and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Telv, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I just got tired of waking up and doing some meaningless job for just enough pay to make it to the next paycheck. I knew a sacrifice had to be made leaving my comfort zone but I was willing to make that change in order to be self efficient.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
My art simply depicts the world around me. Things these days are so screwed and twisted with a narrative that everyone is building these million dollars businesses simply off of knowledge. My music and clothing show that there is a bottom && it’s where I can from. It shows that there’s no easy road, no easy come up, no way to make a quick buck. Trying to chase the fast money always leads you to the quickest dead end. I want my message to be simply, even you can do this because I’m you. I’m someone who comes from nothing, I’m someone who be deem to be weird. But you can’t let the mindset of others stop you from achieving the goals set forth in your eyes. Try anything long enough, eventually you’ll become a master.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Well depending on the person but I’ll tell it as if it was me hosting me. So the first day/night I’d relax, hang around the house talk, catch up, whatever we want to do just to get closure over the time we spent apart. most of the time spent would be eating, shopping, going to the aquarium and other brunch/party spot, seeing were in Atlanta.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Everyone on my team deserves a shout out. I don’t want to single just one person but you know who you are and I appreciate everything you do to see me glow.
