We had the good fortune of connecting with Telecia Stanton and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Telecia, as a parent, what have you done for you children that you feel has had the most significant impact?
I taught my daughter what unconditional love means. She understands how important Values and setting high goals regardless of failure. Keep focused on your goals.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I retired from the US Army. It was not easy but I learned what leadership is and how important values are in an organization. I overcame challenges by viewing them through a different lens. I removed emotions and try again.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I live in Atlanta so I would go to concerts, eat dinner at a soul food restaurant, I enjoy going to Stone Mountain for walk exploring nature.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to thank God for giving me the grace to keep pushing when I wanted to quit. I would like to thank Mrs.Nikki Zeigler for the opportunity. I dedicate this book to Katie, Akieriah, Joy, and Aulani. I love you and thank you for your everlasting support.
