Hi Taylor, how do you think about risk?
When it comes to taking risks , i’ve always been hesitant. And once it my business started to play a huge role in my life i began to reassure myself that just because we spend money for our business doesn’t mean we can’t make that money back. Risk taking , on a business level, has actually opened my eyes because at a point in time i used to be scared to take any type of risk within my life or career but now since i’ve done the steps to make me feel reassured & not hesitant about the decisions im making, things have become a bit easier for me in my life.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I am a Entrepreneur . I have my own business , i create videos on my youtube channel , & i am an Aspiring American Sign Language Interpreter. What sets me apart from others is my creativity & drive. i have so many areas where i can express myself & as a leo we love to express ourselves creatively. I always strive for the best. I make sure my videos , my signs or whatever im doing is done almost perfectly. I need everything im doing to be up to par or i will start all over until i get it right. I push myself to do things i wouldn’t normally do such as trying to create content full time with a full time job . Sometimes it’s very exhausting but it’s the most fulfilling thing i’ve done in a while. It’s a challenge but i just think about how in a few years im going to look back on it & be happy that i pushed myself & gave the effort so i can have a more comfortable life. It’s a learning experience in all honesty. I’ve learned that you cannot rush perfection. you cannot rush through the things that make you happy the most. Taking your time will always win. Push yourself & Believe in yourself because no one else will if you don’t. Everything starts with self. I want people to know that as a Black queer woman , you can be anything in this world. you can do whatever you want to do , just apply yourself. It will not be easy but it will be worth it. But always remember, everything happens for a reason.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Currently I live in Las Vegas so i would take my bestfriend to either Lake of Las vegas first or to a day club . For lunch , we can eat on the strip or maybe a hole in the wall. ( a place no one really knows about but it’s really good) Las Vegas have a lot of good places to eat & hang out on the strip or fremont street. For dinner, maybe a movie & then maybe an asian restaurant. Me and my bestfriend like to eat different types of food.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to shout out my older sisters! My sisters are a my main source of support & i want to give them all their flowers for the continuos support. Even when my business first started, they have always been so supportive since day one. I couldn’t be more grateful for them because not everyone is going to support you but when you have a successful & loving support system, anything is possible. i love them so much .
