We had the good fortune of connecting with Taylor Marie and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Taylor, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I’ve always had a passion for Interior Design. I obsess over Pinterest more than any other platform because of all of the inspo and DIY ideas people provide on there! From Holiday decor to “Sprucing up your entire home with less than $100” … It was during these leisure times that put a pep in my step and motivated me to begin crushing my goals as a property owner!

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I call myself an artist because through all efforts, I love to create.

From creating unique spaces for my tenets/customers renting from Our Sisters Properties, my partner and myself call this one the Garden District as it exudes a very zen(ish) atmosphere with greenery throughout.

Creating space through my blog Our Sisters Our Time – A platform “Supporting humans in finding zen and success.

Through my 9-5 job as a Talent/Influencer manager where I am provided with opportunities to produce events for A-List talent and establish everlasting relationships between individuals and the company I work for.

As an Individual who enjoys creating content for myself and for SirJon’s page, we are in photoshoot mode at least (2) weekends out of the month!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
There’s so many gems in this city but the ones I obsess over most are

Family Time: Sloomoo Institute

Brunch: The Vault Restaurant and Lounge inside of The Bank Event Center

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to dedicated this Shoutout to my 2 year old son SirJon Lance Bishop.

Before his existence, I found myself cruising through life with no care in the world and no goals to crush. Upon SirJon entering this world, my whole life changed for the better. I suddenly found true purpose in living life on my own terms. The amount of things I’ve been able to accomplish with him right at my side is nothing short of God’s journey, and I can’t thank SJ enough for being one of my biggest motivators!
