Meet Tatiana Mack | Artist

We had the good fortune of connecting with Tatiana Mack and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Tatiana, what inspires you?
I am inspired by the beauty of the nature and the life around me. The amazing palette of the greenery of the trees, or the game of catch between light and shadow make me want to paint time and time again.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I am a painter. I work with fluid acrylics and resin to create my abstract art. But my true love is oil paint. I paint mostly modern realism or contemporary art. Landscape, ocean, or flowers are my preferred subjects. In the past year I have been working on pet portraits. And I believe they are my best work so far. In my journey as an artist I noticed that you always learn new techniques and tricks as you practice your skills. But it is also is very important to know when to stop. A painting can get ruined if an artist would not stop modifying or adding to it. Trust me, I had to scrape several of mine and start all over again.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
For the dinner and a drink, I would recommend Tres Lunas in Milton. It is a family owned tequila bar, and an excellent Mexican restaurant.
For the day of shopping and fun – Avalon in Alpharetta. I would also suggest visiting The Scene Art Gallery at the North Point Mall in Alpharetta.
Alternatively-downtown Woodstock is a fun place to visit.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My sister, Olga Jackson, who is a female romance author, was the one to thank for my artist career. She was the first person who called me an artist.
