We had the good fortune of connecting with Tasia Graham and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Tasia, how do you think about risk?
Taking risks is what being an entrepreneur is all about. Think about it — you took a risk as soon as you decided to start your own business. You don’t know what’s going to happen, but you did it anyway. There’s beauty in the risks. Sometimes that’s what we need in order to get to that next level. If no one else will bet on you, you have to bet on yourself.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I’m the Founder/CEO of Taaenoelle + Co. ®. I started out as a stationery designer, but about a year ago, I made the pivot into branding and website design. It’s a service I’ve always offered, it was just not the main focus for my brand at that time. It hasn’t been an easy road, but I would say it’s been worth it. Since the pandemic, I rediscovered who I am as a person, and as a business owner – and it is great to finally be at this place. With social media, it’s so hard to get caught up into the idea of “perfection” and feeling the need to keep up with everyone and everything. I soon realized that no matter what platform, no matter what I’m doing – my gifts will make room for me. They’re in me and no one can take that away. I would say what sets my brand apart is our passion for helping women, as well as our eye for design. The way we’re able to transform visions is amazing — if I do say so myself. We’re all about the transformation. Getting our clients from Point A – to Point B!
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my best friend visited the area, I would make a reservation for us to enjoy a nice brunch at a beautiful Resort. Then we would do a little shopping, followed by dinner at a nice upscale restaurant. (Preferably Asian or Italian Cuisine) I like to keep it simple. The best part of hanging with my friends is the “fellowship”. We could be at home chilling, and I would be just as happy!
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I’d like to dedicate this shoutout to my husband. His support throughout the years have been amazing. He’s always there when I need a listening ear, advice, or when I just need to vent. His love for me and our daughter does not go unnoticed. I’m so thankful for him everyday. I can go on and on and on. He’s an amazing person.
