We had the good fortune of connecting with Tashya Renée and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tashya, how has your perspective on work-life balance evolved over time?
Balance in my life has changed alot over the years, especially now with having a family. I have become more disciplined with my task and to do list. Prior to that balance back then was just like a revolving door coming in and going out if that makes sense.

Currently I think about balance as an atmosphere of stability coming together being one with yourself, creating a sense of identity and structure to navigate through the day.

Please tell us more about your work. We’d love to hear what sets you apart from others, what you are most proud of or excited about. How did you get to where you are today professionally. Was it easy? If not, how did you overcome the challenges? What are the lessons you’ve learned along the way. What do you want the world to know about you or your brand and story?
Your Beautiful Skin Nectar is an organic product line where I share elements for the inner and outer adornment of the body. Fearfullyfully and Wonderfully handmade using plant based essential oils. As an entrepreneur I believe what sets me apart from other people or entities is that I encourage protection and provision. Using natural products to inspire health and wellness being able to identify ailments and provide healing using the raw stuff God has gifted us with to create. Learning to heal yourself organically, creating rhythms of rest and relaxation that can heal you. The activity that I’m most proud of in my entrepreneurial journey is being able to express my inner beauty through my creations. Life is about enriching and helping people improve the quality of their life from a degree of excellence. I feel I can be proud of sharing that type of care and compassion.

The truth is, I have not arrived just yet in where I would like to be professionally, but the coaching, mentoring, hard work and dedication is how I pressed through to where I am today. Entrepreneurship is a journey. It’s not easy so let’s just say I’m taking each day one step at a time gracefully as the Lord orders my steps. Furthermore, challenges will be a part of everyone’s life. We all go through a season of a hard time. For me to overcome challenges I kept my head in the game, stayed focus, and just kept my posture to prepare myself for the unforseen circumstances that may come my way. Lessons learned is to be myself, to not mock or mimic anyone else’s identity. Be true to who I am and the brand that I stand for which is my gift back to God. Last but not least I want the world to know that Tasha Renee is a woman of vision, purpose, and courage who will make a difference and be the difference enriching people’s lives with truth and transparency pivoting business and ministering inspiration in the marketplace to serve goods that will sustain and encourage a healthy wealhy way of living. Leading people to become the best version of themselves without compromising my belief system or theirs. Its not what’s on the outside but what you put on the inside that will manifest. True beauty rests on the inside of you which comes from the heart, reflecting who you truly are in the sight of God and the world.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my friend was visiting from out of town, I would take them to Botanical Gardens in Atlanta, GA. The garden is filled with exquisite displays made of plants, flowers, and trees. It is a very relaxing environment. Next, we would go check out Martin Luther King, Jr National Historical Park, Skyview Atlanta and The World of Coca-Cola. Last but not least, after all of the traveling, we would have worked up an appetite. Therefore, I would be taking my friend to get a bite to eat at one of my favorite go-to Mexican restaurants called La Parilla, located in Newnan, GA. We would be enjoying chips and salsa and laughing the day away!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would first like to give a huge shout out to God, because without Him none of this would be possible.

Next I would like to thank my husband Donald for supporting me on my journey, especially with the technical side of things he is pretty savvy when it comes to utilizing computer components.

Last but not least my sister friend, my mentor Charmian Stephens the Ultimate Entrepreneur for her wisdom, guidance and love that pushed me through, she really cares about aspiring entrepreneurs such as myself to go the next level and not give up. As she always says slow and steady wins the race!!!!!
