We had the good fortune of connecting with Tareta Lynette and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Tareta, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I’ve always wanted to help people in a certain capacity. I knew that there was no better way to help others the way that I dreamed of then to start my own business. Although, having the opportunity to build up my career portfolio while serving as an employee to various companies was and still is a big deal. I learned that working for others can sometime limit your creativity and or divert your true passions or purpose.
Hence, We Connect Atlanta was birthed out the need of wanted to assist small business owners with their specific business needs while they are on their journey of building their company.
What should our readers know about your business?
We Connect Atlanta provides Business Concierge Services to Small business owners. We serve as a second set of hands to our clients in need. Although every experience is customized, based on the clients need, our number one goal is to provide each business owner with the support, tools and connections they need to succeed. Our services range from coordinating small projects to helping our clients maintain their day-to-day essential services such as project coordination, project management and other special services requested.
WHAT SET YOU APART?
Our Uniqueness: We serve as a resource and an extension to our clients’ staff team. Once you connect with us whether it’s for a short-term project or long-term partnership, we will make it our business to tell others about the value and the benefits your company offers. Our clients will forever have a home with us. That’s our way of saying Thank you, even after we finish the job.
Most Proud: The one thing I am most proud of is being able to serve creatives and business owners from different industries. There is a sense of joy and great pleasure that I get by helping others achieve their set out goals.
HOW DID YOU GET TO WHERE YOU ARE TODAY BUSINESS WISE-
I have to give total recognition to my Business Coach and Advisor, Ramone Preston. He continues to guide me on this business journey through his business coaching program. The beauty of being apart of his program is not only do I get to flourish (personally) as an entrepreneur but my business gets to experience growth as well. We Connect Atlanta wouldn’t be what it is today and is becoming without his advisement.
Some of the lessons learned along the way is to always be open to pivot your business. You don’t have to change your mission and vision but be open to changing the route if necessary, to get your mission accomplished.
We Connect is in the business of helping people. We are committed to providing the right support, tools and connections your business needs to succeed.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my best friend was to visit me in Atlanta. We would first have breakfast at the Flying Biscuit Café- Midtown. Then we would head over to the World of Coca Cola to explore the history of their brand and story. Next, we would visit Atlantic Station and if it’s the winter months we would definitely try out their outdoors ice skating ring. Following we would head over to Ponce City Market to shop at their featuring stores and to get a bite to eat. Lastly, we would end the evening riding through the Buckhead district and close out with Dinner and great music at RockSteady ATL.
Things to check out in Atlanta:
– Georgia Aquarium
-Martin Luther King (Historic Home)
-Fox Theaters ( Live Concerts)
-Phipps Plaza
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to shout out my close friends, family and NexLevel Ministries for being my forever community. Thank you for being the best tribe that supports me continuously.
