Meet Tamura Wells | One half of Visionary Impressions LLP

We had the good fortune of connecting with Tamura Wells and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Tamura, we’d love to hear what makes you happy.
Having peace within myself and being blessed to have amazing parents and people in my life makes me happy. Being able to assist others, to be genuine and see the smiles when I create for clients is the reason I continue on my journey.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I have been a federal employee for 13 years and will continue to feed my academic and creative side. I’m most proud of my work ethic and my passion to assist others in life. What sets me apart from others is my mindset. I believe that the obstacle we have in life is ourselves. Once the determination and perseverance is set in motion, goals can be achieved.
We want the world to know that being unique is beautiful. Visionary Impressions strives for success and creating designs with our clients in mind.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
The ML King Center, the Herndon Home Museum and Little Five Points are my most interesting places to tour in the city. I love to eat and chill so we would go to Hattie Marie’s Texas BBQ in College Park for Ribs and Mac and cheese for takeout. Johnnys’ Chicken and Waffles in College Park would be a location to hang out and have food and the Rum Punch.
We would definitely be at the Suite Atlanta lounge’s R&B brunch on Saturday listening to old school R&B. The shrimp and grits are delicious and the bottomless Mimosas are my friends! The Atlanta Breakfast Club is another hangout spot. I didn’t eat chicken and waffles but the Peach Cobbler Chicken and Waffles made me a believer.
If you want gourmet takeout as if you’re in a 5-star restaurant, Meals by Chefs Seals is the spot! The Cajun Lobster, Shrimp and Crawfish pasta Is everything!
Tasty T’s Chicken provides homemade dishes for the soul!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I want to take the time to thank the following individuals for exposing me to the art of photography; Craig Sims, Michael Newman (Shane Michael), Anthony Dowdell, Jarek James, Ronald Garrett, Matthew Jeffres, Kevin Stewart and many others. Those nine years at Wolf Camera were amazing!
To my work mentor, Ms. Francine L Walker and my former manager/current business partner Thea Leggett-Page, thank you for recognizing my creative talents and assigning me to create banners, newsletters and custom gifts for departments as a collateral duty.
Thank you Kevin Atkinson of Stakkmoney Brand Apparel for mentoring me and allowing me share my ideas and to collaborate with you.
