Meet Tameka Millander | Reiki Master, Clinical Hypnotherapist and Master Sound Healer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Tameka Millander and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Tameka, how does your business help the community?
At Reihyma Wellness, we create safe, trauma-informed spaces where individuals and families can experience deep healing and return to a state of flow and wholeness.
In the Atlanta and Peachtree City community, we support people navigating anxiety, burnout, chronic stress, emotional blocks, and physical pain through a wide range of modalities. Our integrated bodywork (including cupping, wood therapy, lymphatic drainage, and sauna blanket sessions) helps relieve chronic tension, reduce inflammation, improve mobility, and support recovery. We also offer Reiki, somatic therapy, sound healing, hypnotherapy, and intuitive readings.
Many clients tell us that after just one session they feel lighter in both body and mind, experience less pain, and are better equipped to show up for their lives and loved ones.
We make this work accessible by offering flexible payment options (Klarna, Affirm, Zip, and Sezzle) so that healing isn’t limited by finances.
We also offer pet Reiki as a special service because the human-animal bond is powerful — when pets and their people heal together, entire households become calmer and more connected.
On a broader scale, we believe every person who leaves feeling more regulated, less pained, and more whole creates ripples of compassion and healing in their families, workplaces, and communities — one restored nervous system, one clearer heart, and one lighter body at a time.

What should our readers know about your business?
Reihyma Wellness is a premium holistic healing space in Peachtree City, just south of Atlanta, where people come to release what no longer serves them and return to a natural state of flow and wholeness.
We offer a carefully curated menu of services including Reiki, integrated bodywork (cupping, wood therapy, lymphatic drainage), sound healing, hypnotherapy, somatic therapy, trauma-informed breathwork, reflexology, and intuitive readings. Everything is trauma-informed, intentional, and designed to support the whole person — body, mind, and spirit.
What sets us apart is the way we weave modalities together rather than offering them in isolation. After a recent full menu revamp, we now focus on depth instead of breadth — fewer choices, higher quality, and truly transformative experiences. Our Signature River Journeys combine services (like Reiki + Sound + Lymphatic or Somatic + Breathwork + Bodywork) so clients receive layered healing in one powerful session.
I’m most proud of the way clients leave sessions feeling lighter in their bodies and clearer in their hearts. Whether someone is carrying chronic pain, emotional blocks, burnout, or simply a heavy spirit, they often tell me they feel “seen and safe” for the first time in a long time. That feedback means everything.
The journey here wasn’t easy. While still working in corporate, I scaled back my hours and took a pay cut to follow this calling, all while balancing motherhood, training, and building the business from the ground up. There were long nights, financial fears, self-doubt, and moments I wondered if I was crazy for making these sacrifices. I overcame those challenges the same way I guide my clients — through prayer, community, and trusting the flow even when I couldn’t see the next step.
The biggest lessons I’ve learned are:
• Healing is not linear, and neither is building a business.
• Presence and intention matter more than perfection.
• When you honor your own healing, you create space for others to do the same.
What I want the world to know about Reihyma and my story is this: You don’t have to carry everything alone. Whether you’re moving through pain, grief, transition, or simply craving more peace, there is a river of grace available to you. My brand is a reminder that healing is possible, that your body is wise, and that the same divine love my grandmother poured into me is available to every person who walks through our door — or joins us from a distance.
This work isn’t just what I do. It’s who I’ve become. And I’m honored to share it.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my best friend Toni were coming to visit, I’d be over the moon — she loves art, exquisite dining, live jazz or blues, history, and getting out in nature, so I’d craft a week that feels like a beautiful mix of soul-nourishing experiences and pure joy.
Day 1 – Welcome to Peachtree City
We’d start slow and close to home. A peaceful walk or golf-cart ride along the 100+ miles of trails here (it’s one of the things I love most about living in Peachtree City), then a relaxed dinner at one of our local gems with great wine and conversation. Nothing rushed — just time to catch up and let the Georgia air settle in.
Day 2–3 – Atlanta Culture & Art
We’d head into the city for the High Museum of Art (Toni would lose herself in the collections), then wander the Atlanta BeltLine for street art, people-watching, and that creative energy. Evenings would be for live jazz or blues — places like Blind Willie’s or a intimate venue where the music feels like it’s speaking straight to the soul. Dinner might be somewhere elegant like Bacchanalia or The Optimist — exquisite food, beautiful ambiance, the kind of meal you talk about for weeks.
Day 4 – History & Reflection
A meaningful day at the Martin Luther King Jr. National Historical Park and the Center for Civil and Human Rights. Toni and I both value depth and truth-telling, so this feels sacred. We’d end with a quiet, beautiful dinner and maybe a gentle hike at Sweetwater Creek State Park to let everything settle.
Day 5–6 – Nature & Joy
We’d balance it with hiking and fresh air — Stone Mountain or the Chattahoochee River trails. One day we might rent bikes on the BeltLine or just sit with coffee and watch the world go by. Evenings could include a show at the Fox Theatre or a cozy spot with live music. Food would stay elevated but fun — maybe soul food at Mary Mac’s or a rooftop spot with city views.
Day 7 – Reflection & Send-Off
A slower morning in Peachtree City, perhaps a final trail walk or a spa moment, then one last beautiful meal before her flight. I’d want her to leave feeling restored, inspired, and like Atlanta (and I) wrapped her in a warm hug.
What I love most about showing someone Atlanta is how it blends Southern hospitality with big-city culture, deep history with creative energy, and green trails with incredible food. It’s a place that feels alive and layered — just like the healing work I do. Toni would leave with a full heart, beautiful memories, and probably already planning her next visit.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I’m so grateful for this question because none of this would be possible without the beautiful souls who poured into me long before Reihyma Wellness ever existed.
First and foremost, I want to give the biggest shoutout to my grandmother. She raised me, taught me how to pray, and showed me what unconditional love and faith look like every single day. The woman I am today — the healer, the mother, the business owner — is because of her. She planted the spiritual seeds that now flow through every session I offer.
I also have to honor my massage therapy teachers, Baron and Butler in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. They didn’t just teach me technique — they taught me presence, intention, and how to truly listen with my hands. And to Amanda Palmiere in Pittsburgh, my Reiki instructor, who opened the door to energy work and helped me trust the intuitive gifts I had been carrying all along.
And of course, my children. They are my daily inspiration, my biggest cheerleaders, and my greatest teachers. They push me when I hesitate, celebrate with me when I succeed, and remind me every day why this work matters. They are the reason I show up fully — not just for my clients, but for the legacy I want to leave.
To all of them — thank you. Your love, guidance, and belief made this possible. I carry you with me in every healing space I create.
