Meet Sydnee Floyd | Talk Show Host & Healer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Sydnee Floyd and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Sydnee, how has your background shaped the person you are today?
I grew up in Biloxi, Mississippi, a small city that I felt limited by. My childhood was uniquely different from other children. I had to mature quickly because at the age of 8, I became a caregiver for my sick grandmother. Being a caregiver at such a young age, my childhood experiences were limited. I cared for my grandmother until she passed away when I was 17. At the time, I didn’t fully understand why I had to take on such a significant role so young. However, as I’ve grown older, I’ve come to realize how impactful these experiences were in shaping me into the person I am today.
The responsibilities I had as a child cultivated a deep love for helping others which I’ve continued to do in many different ways as a Registered Nurse, wife, mom, and entrepreneur. My expansive passion and purpose in life continues to revolve around healing, inspiring, and bringing hope to the world. Today, I channel this passion through my herbal tea company, Herbal Health 360, and my talk show, You, Me & a Cup of Tea. Through these platforms, I strive to help people heal mentally, physically, and spiritually.
I am immensely grateful for my journey, the time with my grandmother, and the lessons it taught me. These experiences have not only defined my career but also shaped my life purpose.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I am a multifaceted woman dedicated to fulfilling God’s purpose for my life. Currently, much of my energy is devoted to my Youtube Talk Show “You, Me & a Cup of Tea,” which aims to inspire and raise awareness about mental health. Additionally, I am involved in mental health advocacy. At my core, I am a healer, a helper, and an inspiration, committed to bringing light and hope to others.
It has not been easy at all, but the challenges became easier to overcome once I started keeping God first. I am incredibly grateful for my evolving spiritual relationship, as it has provided me with guidance and strength. Without it, I would not be where, who, and what I am today!
I want the world to know that my transformative moment, both personally and professional, occurred when I put God first. My vision and light come from Him, and I am a vessel for the incredible work He needs to accomplish in this world. I am so grateful to be chosen to serve others and make monumental impact.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I can vibe in so many different settings. I love a great nature day, and I also love a day in the city. That’s why I love Georgia because I get the best of both worlds!
On a day in nature, I’m choosing to lay out at Piedmont Park or take a hike at Roswell or Talulah Waterfall.
On a day in the city, I love to spend an evening at Pasha Restaurant for Dinner and great music. Treat Your Feet in Buckhead is also on my list when I am having a “city day”. Such a nice spa experience with great prices! The couples massage is 10/10!
For anytime during the week that I want a nice Matcha Latte or fresh bakery items, I’m heading to Little Tart Bakery. Seriously, this is a must! Great place to get work done. Wifi is available!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I’ll be honest, I have been surrounded by truly incredible people along my journey who have showered me in unlimited support and love but I have to give an exclusive shoutout to my husband, James. From the time we’ve met, he has not only supported my ideas and dreams but he has poured all his knowledge and effort into helping me make my dreams a reality. The love and belief he has in me continues to fuel me on a daily. I am so grateful for his support, love, and energy. They always say 2 is better than 1–and we are definitely the definition of that. Also, I want to thank every single person that is in our lives uplifting, helping, and rooting for us. Nothing y’all do goes unnoticed. Thank you!
