Meet Susie Tran | Director

We had the good fortune of connecting with Susie Tran and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Susie, can you talk to us a bit about the social impact of your business?
Our unique program accommodates families’ needs and assists children in having a smooth transition into structured and quality educational environment. Our exclusive Life Essential curriculum designed for early childhood development. It prepares children academically and helps them acquired practical life skills. Our goal is to educate children for life which separates us from traditional childcare programs. Life Essential is a propriety curriculum of Kiddie Academy. It is based on the four pillars which are Developmentally Curriculum, Technology, Health and Fitness. This program provides a well-rounded foundation for the future.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
My name is Susie C Tran, I have been in the early childhood education field for almost 19 years. I have completed Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education. A certified Georgia State Trainer and CDA instructor. I have taught preschool , adult learning and worked as Education Consultant for eight years for a private corporation.

Currently, I am the Director of Kiddie Academy of Cumming. Being a School Director is not an easy task. There’s a lot of challenges and responsibilities involved. However, with great support from my team and our owner , Mr. Patel, these bring positive outcome in our school environment. Students receive quality education from our diverse staff.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Forsyth County has a lot of amazing places to explore. The amazing hiking trails in Forsyth County has a lot offer. It is family -oriented hiking trails and children would enjoy it. Family can have a panic or camps over the weekend.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
To all our staff and teachers, for the significant positive impacts, your contributions have been providing excellent, thoughtful, and compassionate service to our students, and their families and supporters. Planning through lesson plans activities to accommodate each child in the classroom, and family events and challenges – these all above and beyond expectations.

To our management team, Anusmita Sur, Angella Phan, and Misty Keys, the behind-the scenes occurred because you made it happened. The dedication, hard work, professionalism , thoughtfulness and diligence are marked of all of your hard work.
