We had the good fortune of connecting with Stretxhyy and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Stretxhyy, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
I feel like thats who I am naturally. Being a producer just naturally came to me because I found it a way to be creative using music making you feel a certain way.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I feel like what sets me apart from others is my sound, how I put my drums and melodies together. Choose things I like from other producers and musical artists and add my own twist to it. The thing that I’m most proud of is that I’m still here and I didn’t give up. Having no major placements right now and not really making a lot of money right now can be challenging when it comes to moving forward but you have to just keep going, it’ll all get better and play out in the end. It wasn’t easy to get to where I am today but honestly all I did was keep going and have faith that something good will turn out for me even if everything else in the world doesn’t. I overcame these challenges by having faith, patience , and consistency. The lessons I’ve learned was ( for me personally ) to sometimes take situations with a grain of salt. Another lesson I’ve learned was to not get caught up in the music and keep making beats. I want the world to know that I’m a real genuine person and I’m built off loyalty, keep everything 1k. I want other people to be inspired by my story to do whatever you want to do in life no matter your circumstances.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If any one of my people came in town, We’d most definitely hit a couple studios out the week and eat whatever is close by tbh.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I Just want to shoutout my friends and family that keeps me going.
