We had the good fortune of connecting with Stevie Salle and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Stevie, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I started my own business (Digital Content Creation / Creative Consulting / Social Media Marketing) based off my pure love for the digital space. When I first started doing what I do – I didn’t intend for it to turn into a business. I started sharing, posting, and creating content because I genuinely was excited to share my ideas and thoughts on things that I love. From there, with time and hard work – it transformed into a business. I love the natural and steady progression that my career has had and while I do believe having a plan / process when starting a business is essential, there’s also something special about a business happening organically and pivoting, learning, and growing along the way.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Please tell us more about your business: • Digital Content Creation / Creative Consulting / Social Media Marketing

What sets you apart from others?:
• I believe what sets me apart from others is my ability to create engaging, interesting, unique, and aesthetic content – all the while remaining genuine, authentic, and real with my viewers. It’s one thing to create great content and put together nice outfits, but it’s another thing to actually connect with your audience, talk about real things, and share your thoughts on things that people may not always be brave enough to talk about / share. It’s all about creating a genuine yet value packed digital space for my viewers – where they feel like they’re just talking to / listening to a friend chat about anything / everything.

What you are most proud of or excited about?
• I’m proud of the work ethic I have / the opportunities I have been blessed with throughout my career. I didn’t grow up having much, so to have the ability to work with luxury fashion and lifestyle brands, been given these amazing opportunities, travel the world for work, etc – is definitely a humbling experience.

How did you get to where you are today business-wise. Was it easy?
• I got my business / myself to where I am today by being consistent, being kind, and staying true to myself and my values. I really believe that nothing in life worth having – comes easy, and if you want something bad enough – you will find a way to make it happen. That is the energy I applied to my business, to get to where I am today.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I live in Seattle, WA.

I would say my favorite areas within Seattle, WA are:
• Capitol Hill (restaurants, shops, thrift stores, bars, dessert, clubs)
• Ballard (local Sunday market, vintage shops, unique eats)
• Pike Place / Downtown (scenic views, markets, tons of restaurants, bars, clubs, shops)

In terms of fun, interesting, exciting people, places or things to check out:
• Hiking in Washington
• Coffee shops in the city
• Variety of fitness classes
• Tons of happy hour opportunities

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I’d love to give a shoutout to my sister – Stacey Salle. She helped me shoot all of my content when I first started on social media and I truly wouldn’t be where I am today, without her.
