Meet Stephen Pham | Dancer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Stephen Pham and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Stephen, what is the most important factor behind your success?
The most important factor behind my success is the ability to endure the growing pains through new experiences, taking the time to understand them, finding a resolution, and continuing to evolve that resolution. The success is trial and error and through that I find answers and learn more about myself giving the opportunity to develop to be the best form of myself possible. As a result of my actions, I am able to perform and represent my brand to the world exhibiting the experiences I been through. This highlights the perception of my brand in the best light in my opinion.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I have a full time career outside of my passion for dance. In other words, I have my reality (career in sales) and my aspiration (passion for dance). Although I am a professional dancer, I am also a provider for my family and myself. Having the best of both worlds allows me to truly be able to be and feel “free” in my passion for dance. I dislike making dance, my form of peace and therapy, work. On a deeper level, dance has given me the ability to be confident, curious, and the ability to continue to progress. Dance is my bridge in between reality and my aspirations(dreams). I look at dance as my foundation of who I am and who I am continuing to become. If I am able to continue to build and grow in my passion for dance then I can mirror that in my full time career, in my relationships, and in my character.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would take them to one of my favorite chicken spots Man Chus/ Golden Wings, Acme,Dragos, Katies(Seafood Spots), majority of our time would be downtown New Orleans experiencing the bars and restaurants out there!

Some of my favorite places to shop that I wluld take them would be Loyalty Club, Maximo , ONO(Only In New Orleans), Foster, Bside, Made In The Hood, Damins & Like Sushi!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I want to shout out God first and foremost for the continuous faith that I have been building upon through my life time. In addition, I want to thank my wife Jennifer Nguyen for keeping me balanced with my reality and aspirations. In addition, I want to thank my family and friends for the circle of genuine energy, inspiration and refusing to let me fail.
