We had the good fortune of connecting with Stacey Thompson and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Stacey, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
Well I’ve been an entrepreneur since high school. I use to do paperwork for my mom, so I could afford hair supplies to do clients at school. I always had a hustle about myself and I always loved to learn, I believe that those 2 things are the core of every great entrepreneur. I wanted to show the world that God gave me a talent and that I could make money using it. Finding my purpose came in time and that’s a different story lol

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I am a licensed Realtor in Georgia and Florida, currently working on enhancing to Broker. For over 20 years I was a licensed beautician and PMU Artist, I’ve owned several store locations between Georgia and Florida and through this I have crossed the path of some amazing people. More so I learned entrepreneurship through trial, error and experience. Once you know what being an entrepreneur is all about, I feel you can thrive in any field you chose. The key to growing a successful business is helping others, learning how you can be an asset to everyone around you without being a liability to yourself. Making sure the math is mathing, meaning learning the business side of things and knowing how to play every position in your company so you can put other people in that position properly. Setting people up to win and growing within yourself while doing so.

My brand is about legacy building, which to me means building something that is bigger than yourself. My company thrives on educating people just like myself and giving them the support they need to dream bigger. Everyone is in love with real estate right now because its popular, but everyone isn’t receiving the knowledge they need to know that it is also attainable. We teach our children to get loans and live at school campuses and they spend most of their adult life paying back those loans. I educate young people on purchasing a home close to campus and renting it to college students while going to college rent free and graduating with equity. See knowledge is nothing if no one is showing you how to apply it!

This is where PURPOSE comes in. I left the beauty business with all that I had learned from running successful businesses and found a career that aligned with God’s purpose for me. I now help families with the largest transaction they will probably ever make in their lifetime and in the process I hand them POWER. There is power in knowledge and most of us need that to break generational curses. There is nothing easy about real estate, it’s a selfless job because its not personal. People trust agents to do the impossible sometimes, in order to get them through the finish line and we wear several hats while doing so. I take that very seriously and my company stands behind its values.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Honestly this probably wouldn’t be the best question for me, due to me having a 6 and 7 year old and not really being an OUTSIDE type of person. When I want to have fun I travel, when I am local it still feels like I am working loool

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Everything I am and am becoming is due to God. Life is a journey and the only person that will truly know where you are going before you get there is God, so learning to come to him first has been my strongest asset thus far. My children are up next, because when I became a mother I started seeking PURPOSE! It was the only way I could keep going without feeling guilty as a mother, because being a Mompreneur is also difficult emotionally. We wear the guilt of time lost with our children, but the purpose behind your journey keeps you going.
