We had the good fortune of connecting with Smallahaze Studio and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Smallahaze, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
Our thought process was to just boss up. Through art we figured we could do whatever we wanted and through art be able to coexist. With our line of work we both put a lot of pride into our craft and we knew it would take a while to get the ball rolling because we would need for people to trust our work before they booked us for anything and to gain trust you would have to have something under your belt. We had nothing so we knew we would have to do a lot of work for little to nothing before we actually started to gain any type of clientele.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
SmallHaze Studio is a creative agency where we focus on fine arts, music, fashion, photography/videography, and more. We are excited about our future endeavors as we are always looking towards what’s to come and not so much the “right now”. We are set to have a plethora of events in the near future that we expect the city to come out and vibe with us. We are still currently working on building and expanding our brand across the world as we had collaborations with businesses in Texas, Georgia, Virginia, South Carolina, South Korea and more. It took a lot of restless nights, busy days, and strategic planning to get where we are today and we understand the profession we are in just doesn’t happen in one night. Our team are very much aware and patient when it comes to our craft. We enjoy the process of creating and that’s what makes our business enjoyable.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I’m a fan of Little points in ATL. The stores there are A1 and the restaurants in that area as well. There’s always something going on in that area when I’m there so I would definitely recommend that general area if I were having some company.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
We would love to dedicate a shout-out to our supporters, those who have been following over the course of years. We are greatly appreciative of them and those to come.
