Meet Sharonda Williams | Entrepreneur & Nursing Student

We had the good fortune of connecting with Sharonda Williams and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Sharonda, why did you pursue a creative career?
I chose to pursue my creative career for many reasons. One of the main reasons is being able to express my feelings in an artistic way and encourage people that can relate to every project that I release. I also want to do what I love and just accept accountability that this is actually what I really want to do rather than become the normal cooperate 9-5 employee. I also love change and I can satisfy that need due to the fact I’m not working for anyone else but myself, Im my own boss!

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Stella Grind is a self empowerment business selling daily essentials supportively for women focusing on growth. My business is very unique because it gives you a balance of glitz and glam while also trying to stay on top of your daily needs such as health, confidence, and your priorities. I am proud of the overall creative development such as the slogan which is “Are you feeding your soul as much as your ego?”. That statement is asking are you taking care of your interior as much as the exterior. Taking care of the inner you is just as important as looking good and they both go hand in hand you cant do one without the other and I feel like that sets me apart from other entrepreneurs. It was not easy at all being a business owner is very risky but the bigger the risk the better the reward so I stay focus and committed to the dream and remember why I wanted to embark this journey in the first place. I also think about the “what ifs” if I decide to give up. For example, What if I actually manifest exactly what I said I wanted. I won’t know the outcome if I forfeit and that’s what keeps me going. I learned to stay patient, focus, and always try to be optimistic no matter what situation occurs. I want the world to “Feed the grind and compliment your ego with Stella Grind!”

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my best friend comes in town the first thing we’re going to do is go freshen up and head downtown my favorite spot is Pasha Restaurant or Bar Soigne’ Garden. We will then proceed to go out and get a section at Blu or Hide Kitchen & Cocktails. Towards the end of the night/early morning we might end at Babylon or Azul after/nightclub. The next day we’ll brunch at Toast on Lenox or Barneys Atlanta and hang out with a couple of friends to later going out again to Opium, Smokehouse ATL, Gold Room, etc. During the day we will go to Madam CJ Walker museum and tour other historic places in Atlanta. For fitness we can rent bikes and ride the Atlanta betline line trail!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to shoutout to God. He’s the reason for my success. He provided me with faith and strength to proceed with Stella Grind along with the support from my mother, family, friends, and Stella Gang! Olivia Charles is also a big supporter we decided that we wanted to become business owners and follow our dreams.
