We had the good fortune of connecting with Sha’kobe Tidwell and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Sha’Kobe, what is the most important factor behind your success?
Diverse Perspective. One of the most crucial factors that has fueled my personal and professional success is my commitment to cultivating a truly diverse perspective.

To me, a diverse perspective is an ability to step outside of your own experiences to appreciate and observe the layers that make up someone else’s journey, perspective, and identity. It’s about understanding that everyone’s story is unique and is shaped differently by their struggles, values, and influences. This openness has not only enriched my interactions but also deepened my understanding of myself. It has enabled me to build connections with people from various walks of life, fostering respect and empathy in every encounter, from random compliments to networking opportunities. This approach has been crucial to the development of my business and self, allowing me to approach challenges with an inclusive and developmental mind.

I can’t pinpoint the exact age when I began valuing this, but I remember it being a transformative shift. It happened during a period of self-discovery—a time when I was working to make sense of life’s complexities. As we know, Life is made up of countless moving pieces: people, events, circumstances, and, quite frankly, a surprising lack of common sense. I began to realize that there was so much more to understand beyond the surface of what I saw.

For a while, I felt surrounded by people who didn’t take the time to genuinely see or consider the influences shaping the actions and behaviors around them. It was as if there was a gap between the reality in front of us and the empathy needed to understand it fully. No one stopped to think, “Maybe they act this way because of what they’ve been through” or “Perhaps their choices are a reflection of something unseen.” That gap left me curious and encouraged me to view life through a broader, more compassionate lens.

One should know I am the Founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Glamour Avenue. Glamour Avenue is a social media agency that provides guidance and support to individuals in the social and digital space as they develop their brand, whether personal, professional, or a blend of both. I would not be able to lead or develop my business without the diverse perspective I work so hard to maintain. If it interests you, feel free to find more about Glamour Avenue at @officialglamouravenue on Instagram or by email at glamouravenue.contact@gmail.com.

In a world that often pushes us to follow narrow viewpoints, I believe that a diverse perspective is the key to genuine growth—both personally and collectively. When we embrace diversity of thought, background, and experience, we create spaces where innovation thrives, empathy deepens, and misunderstandings lessen. We start to see challenges not as obstacles, but as invitations to understand and adapt, often in ways we hadn’t considered before.

This approach has been transformative not only for me but also for those I work with. It encourages a culture of openness and learning that is contagious. By valuing diverse perspectives, I’ve witnessed people feel truly seen and understood, leading them to engage with a greater sense of purpose and creativity.

It’s amazing how much potential can unfold when people feel validated in their experiences and invited to share their ideas without fear of judgment. I’m grateful that my own journey has given me the chance to discover this mindset, which I believe is foundational to building inclusive, forward-thinking communities.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Glamour Avenue is a social media and creative direction company with a mission to guide individuals in developing a positive and productive relationship with social media. What sets us apart is our focus on positive realism—helping clients build authentic, relatable brands that resonate with their audience while promoting self-development.

I’m incredibly proud of how far we’ve come since our start in 2019. The journey wasn’t always easy; like many businesses, we faced challenges in establishing a unique voice and staying resilient amid shifts in the industry. In addition to those who believe social media isn’t a stable market or industry. Overcoming these challenges meant staying true to our mission and building strong, genuine relationships with clients.

The biggest lesson I’ve learned is the importance of adaptability and empathy. Social media is constantly evolving, and we need to understand and connect with people to stay relevant. I want the world to know that Glamour Avenue is more than a business; it’s a supportive community for anyone looking to grow, learn, and make a meaningful impact through social media.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I’m often a homebody until the right invitation comes along—whether it’s for an event, a night out, or even just a good lunch. But let me share one of my favorite spots near Atlanta: Starlight Drive-In Theatre and Flea Market. I’m a big fan of drive-in movies, which are sadly becoming rare in the U.S., so finding this gem has been a real treat. Starlight offers double features, classic concession stands, and a weekend flea market. While I haven’t explored the flea market yet, the drive-in experience itself is always fun and satisfying, especially if you get a great spot and go with the right company.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to dedicate a shoutout to my beautiful mother and sisters. Their mentorship and shared knowledge have driven me to become the individual I am presently, and who I will be. I love you. Thank you.
