We had the good fortune of connecting with Shaflo Williams and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Shaflo, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
My thought process was to create a platform for the youth and people to get jobs learning how to build residual income. After studying a few business owners, I realize most successful people has more than one income, making money with one business, and using their business to open more businesses.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I’m a songwriter who loves to preform my original pieces. I started a fan base called Sneaker Gang. It started as my fan base then became a organization and now a mini YouTube series. Giving back to the community and spreading inspiration to the world showing creative looks and different sneakers. I’m excited about the impact we are making in the community with Word of Da Day! I continue to fight for my dreams and keep one foot in front of the other and paced myself never gave up. It was a lot of challenges and circumstances to slow me down but the key is staying focus and dedicated to what you want in life. I’ve learned that with every blessing come a challenge and a test it’s all how you past or fail that test of life is what determines your success. I’m here to make a impact for a better future a better world for all people.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Well I am currently located in Seattle, Wa and we will site see visit places like Point Ruston we’re you can eat along the water ride bikes and enjoy the beautiful outdoors. We will visit pike place Seattle and enjoy the tourist experience and go out dancing to great music.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
