We had the good fortune of connecting with Shaanah Montanna and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Shaanah, what do you attribute your success to?
I would say the most important factors behind the success of my brand are being wildly intentional and consistent in all that I do! I have a podcast that I’ve promised the people will be available with a new episode every week, so I must live up to that and give the people what they want every Monday! Additionally, it’s all about the consistency of what goes on behind the scenes that makes the success happen! This included coming up with fresh topics, finding reliable guests to appear on the show, recording the episodes, and so much more and this is all before the episode goes live or the content relating to it shows up on social media! So, being intentional in all that I do gives me the focus to be as consistent as my brand requires!
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
The To Be Single or Not To Be brand is a company that is based around all things love and relationships and is the home of the podcast and apparel line by the same name. Our podcast is a weekly discussion of various relationship topics that cover the issues people are facing in love and relationships of all kinds, how we identify and navigate those issues, and lastly, how we overcome these obstacles so we can have better relationship days in the future OR make a conscious choice to just continue being single if we feel the single life is better suited for us! What I am most proud of is the fact that I decided to take a little idea, acted on it in a big way, and now seeing the positive impact it’s had on others makes me truly smile from the inside!
Furthermore, being able to take the success of the podcast into Season 3 (Season 4 is loading) while successfully launching an apparel line is something I am proud of as well along with its success! I think what sets my brand apart from others is the level of transparency and realness that you get on every episode! It’s not scripted, it’s not made up stories, it’s real-life with real people working to help people have real healthy relationships!
What I want the world to know about my brand and my story is that having a healthy, loving, and safe relationship is a real option! The work may not always be pretty, but the conversations around this area must be honest and they must be had! We are just warming up and have so much more in store!

I want to shoutout all of the listeners and supporters of the To Be Single or Not To Be brand! This all started in 2019 as just an idea and for it to grow and continue to evolve as it has organically is honestly a blessing and it wouldn’t be possible without the people!
