We had the good fortune of connecting with DAYZ and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi DAYZ, why did you pursue a creative career?
I chose this career because it was different, and it wasn’t a norm. I also wanted to do something daring and found a love for it.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I’ve gotten to where I am by simply not giving up. I payed attention and was always willing to better my craft regardless of opinions. I also realized as an artist you gotta learn patience, and probably end up with more heart breaks or crushed hopes due to chasing a dream only you can see. I’ve became more versatile and well conditioned with my music as time has went on and use my past experiences as well as my present perceptions to fuel great music.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I’m petty chill so I’m usually the one visiting. When I have someone come spend time with me in my vicinity though it usually turns into them watching me make music or listening to some new tunes while we find other things to do creatively. I’d probably hit the city and a few bars and be content with my interactions and time with friends.
