We had the good fortune of connecting with Scott Kasics and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Scott, what’s your definition for success?
Success can be defined in all different ways. I define it in pursuing something that you truly enjoy. With acting i started at zero and i knew it was going to be a huge challenge. Thats why i pursued it cause the challenge and difficulty is what makes it fun and pushing you to be better and work harder. Every set i been on since i started i try to learn from everyone, and it helps you grow as an actor

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I grew up in a low income household so i knew life was going to be challenging. I was never handed anything in life .i was very athletic and my dad taught me hiw to play baseball and football. Even then going thru sports i had to work so hard to prove to the coaches to give me a chance. All the coaches i had growing up taught me discipline and hard work that stuck with me all thru life. I had alot of hardships in my 20s where i was stuck with minimum wage jobs and just going thru the motion of life. So in 2018 i packed up and drove to florida with only 800$ to my name. I found a room to rent for very cheap in exchange i had to do 25 hours of yard work a week. I was always in great shape so i stsrted going to gyms around south florida and offering workout advice. And i started a personal training business from scratch and was able to keep building from that. Then in feb of 2025 i was able to start my acting journey

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would definitely take friends to orlando and try to visit most of the theme parks. I think its so much fun and everyone is in such great spirits. And now with the Brightline open , its also a fun experience taking the train! And the restaurants are so much fun there with fantastic views.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I didnt know much about the acting industry. I applied to a few things. Then Talent Direct Agency in florida signed me on to their background group on Feb.7 2025. and they helped me get on commercial sets. I started to learn more and more. I wrote down my goals from the start and my main goal was to get on as many major sets as i could and continue learning . That could of never been possible without all the casting agents and talent groups that believed in me and let me show my ability.
