We had the good fortune of connecting with Sarah Hodgin and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Sarah, what do you think makes you most happy? Why?
When I am living in the moment. I love to be able to slow down and to spend time on experiencing activities and collaborations. I love to be immersed in the moment and connect to the senses.
What should our readers know about your business?
Momcierge, like all small businesses, is a labor of love. The concept of Momcierge is not a new or even unique idea, but rather a lifehack executed with precision and care, it brings new and unique value to our client’s lives. Our goal at Momcierge is to create to make our clients life easier, by taking duties and projects off their to-do list, to return time to them and their families. Seeing the look of relief and excitement on our client’s face as they mentally cross something off their to-do list, is a rewarding bonus for our brand. We have grown from a simple “laundry and dishes” task-based business with a handful of clients, to serving more than 40 clients with a staff of 5 employees. We have grown to now offer a suite of products to create efficiencies for our regular customers, as well as meet the need of clients that want to give Momcierge a shot for a single project. Beyond these seemingly mundane tasks, we have also created seasonally-specific products that take away the added stress of a holiday or birthday. The journey to where we are today wasn’t easy, but built through a expanding network created by a client-needs-first and excellence-obsessed mentality.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
